We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant by chance and I must say that everything went very well, excellent homemade food, very kind staff, the owner, a person who is very friendly with customers. I recommend the La Fermata restaurant to everyone.

Village atmosphere and pleasantly unlikely service. Strong, excellent and authentic flavours. Super house wine. Small but delicious menu. Very low prices. Very out of the way but with fabulous views. Pleasant outdoor space

The best place to eat authentic homemade Sicilian food, very reasonable price, highly recommend never miss it when I go to Sicily and never disappointed suggest to book. You will not be able to eat the whole selection suggest to pace yourself.

11/11/2024: My husband and I spent two nights in Taoromina and both nights we ate at Al Giardino! Everything we ate was incredible! The Marsala chicken with a side of vegetables - outstanding! Impossibly moist chicken. Tagliatelle with red prawn and pistachio - unlike anything we’ve eaten in Italy and so delicious! Spaghetti with anchovies and fried bread - oh my god I will be dreaming of this dish! So comforting and very umami! And of course the eggplant parmigiana! Unbelievably flavourful and so meaty. Definitely try it! The minestrone and meatballs were also fantastic! Great service! Everyone was super attentive and kind. A true gem of a spot and I hope to return one day! Grazie!
