Waren nach einem Ausflug nach Caltabelotta im la Ferla essen und haben dort die beste Pasta alla Norma gegessen. Auch der Hauswein (nur Rotwein) war sehr gut! Und erst die Lammkotletts waren vorzüglich! Den etwas älteren Kellner konnte auch eine plötzlich hereingeschneite Bikergruppe nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Bemerkennswert durchgehend warme Küche, was hier nicht selbstverständlich ist, wegen der Siesta ;-)

in July 2024, curious to take a tour of Caltabelotta, we stopped to have dinner in this restaurant and we trusted the suggestions of the gentleman in charge of the service and perhaps the very kind and very sociable owner, appetizer of cheeses and cured meats with caponata and various vegetables, then , mixed grill of mutton and pork with salad and roasted potatoes, all very simple, good and plentiful, satisfied even with the bill, good value for money, with coffee and limoncello kindly offered.

Abbiamo scelto per la nostra escursione a Caltabellotta questo ristorante per mangiare a pranzo. Eravamo 4 adulti e 2 ragazzi. Abbiamo mangiato bene, il menu è buono e i piatti molto semplici. Non abbiamo trovato piatti caratteristici siciliani o piatti particolari che ci abbiano particolarmente conquistato. La posizione del locale è carina, con punto panoramico sulla valle. Abbiamo mangiato 3 scaloppine al limone, 2 pasta alla carbonara, una scaloppina al vino, 2 insalate verdi e 3 patatine fritte, 4 acque, una coca cola e una birra e i caffè. Dosi abbondanti. Abbiamo speso in tutto 106€, un prezzo assolutamente nella media. È stato un po' come mangiare a casa, sicuramente in un luogo turistico una buona scelta se si vuole pagare il giusto prezzo.

From the outside you can't tell that the restaurant serves food and wine that can be described as a real treat for the palate. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The menu is manageable, which suggests a high level. I was not wrong in this regard. It's better to have less on offer, but this is perfect. So it's perfect. It is prepared by a chef who deserves the title of top chef! Together with the Padrone, simply top class! That was a culinary highlight for my family and me today. Once again my thanks to the padrone and the chef. My family and I absolutely recommend going there.
