After a long flight from the US and arriving in Rome early in the morning, we were exhausted. With heavy rain pouring outside, we didn’t want to venture far from our hotel so we decided to try the rooftop restaurant, La Fata Ignorante, at the iQ Hotel. It turned out to be the perfect choice. The rooftop setting is cozy, warm, and inviting, exactly what we needed after a long travel day. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and really added to the experience. The food was a standout. The pasta carbonara was absolutely amazing rich, creamy, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best versions we’ve had. And the tiramisu deserves a special mention: it was hands down the best we had in all of Italy during our trip. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering it’s a hotel restaurant with such a nice atmosphere and high-quality dishes. Overall, La Fata Ignorante exceeded our expectations and offered the perfect first meal in Rome. We highly recommend it, whether you're staying at iQ Hotel or simply looking for a great, relaxed dining experience.

A very nice restaurant located in the IQ Hotel. It has a terrace for al fresco dining. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Extensive wine and cocktail list. Pleasant atmosphere.

Amazingly delicious food, excellent service, and an atmosphere you won’t find easily in Rome. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the city from the terrace while savoring their incredible dishes. The wine selection is also very good.

This place is a different world. The food is on another level. I had a salmon appetizer and fettuccine with rabbit ragu. My wife chose something else that I can't pronounce, but it was just as good. The dessert was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day. I recommend making a reservation.

We celebrated our anniversary here. I chose it for the name and because dates are popular. But it has nothing to do with my passion. I had to choose between two food gardens, and La Fata Ignorante was the most appealing. Top-notch hospitality and helpful, fast, and customer-focused staff. Top-quality food, compliments to the chef and all the staff, you welcomed us and made us feel at home right away. The girl who looked after us and gave us advice (sorry, I don't remember her name, I don't want to misspell it) and also Daniele, who looked after us, were amazing. The view was beautiful. Stunning location and welcoming people. A top-notch evening, with remarkable dishes and beautiful presentation. The elevated location (restaurant terrace) and the opportunity to stroll nearby, all the way to the Colosseum, complete the picture.
