LA Farinata dei Teatri In Genova

Like it used to be. It's getting harder and harder to find places like this anymore. As a tourist, it's a wonderful experience.

A real discovery for those who haven't yet visited! La Farinateria is a little gem where quality shines through in every product. Farinata, cakes, castagnaccio, and all the baked goods are always fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the passion and care that goes into making every dough, and there's always a smile behind the counter ready to welcome you. The staff is incredibly kind and always available, offering expert and friendly advice. Every time I return, it's like the first time: a new discovery of aromas and deliciousness. Highly recommended for those who love authentic flavors and true quality!

A dinner with friends spent in the best possible way. We ate a trio of cakes: chard cake, onion cake, and rice cake. I must say that it respects Genoese cuisine and its traditions. The farinata is simply spectacular! The atmosphere is intimate and not too noisy, and the exposed wood-fired oven is the icing on the cake, beautiful. The owners are very nice and welcoming :)

A historic place where you feel like you've stepped back in time. You can also dine outside, surrounded by a thousand "little lights"... a fairytale atmosphere in a small city square!
