This is a great old trattoria. I've always had exceptional takeout cakes, but for the first time I decided to book directly at the restaurant. Once you've passed the restaurant, a very kind lady leads you to the upstairs dining room. Low ceilings, few tables, but a lovely sense of simplicity and tradition. I ordered a farinata with stracchino and gorgonzola (served separately) and a delicious caramelized pudding, along with two beers. The farinata was amazing. Highly recommended. The only downside is that you smell the food on your clothes, perhaps due to inadequate ventilation.

We stopped for a quick lunch on our way back from a visit to San Martino, on the way to the station. The restaurant is easy to find. The welcome was warm, and as soon as we entered, the delicious aroma of Ligurian cuisine wafted through us, bringing back memories of my childhood and my grandmother's cooking. I had the delicious panissa condita, and a plate with a sampling of all the savory pies, which were very good. I could smell the aroma of cuttlefish and peas in the air, but unfortunately, I'm vegetarian, so I couldn't try them. Highly recommended.
