14/09/2023: My wife and I had a meal here recently during our stay in Sestri Levante. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area. When we visited, on a Sunday evening, there were only about 10 diners present and the staff had a laid-back, albeit friendly attitude. To start with, I had 57° veal, roast sauce, tuna sauce, capers to start, followed by Ciappa : mackerel, angler fish, baby squid, fried squid, carrots, mustard seeds. My wife had Portofino-style gnocchi: pesto, tomato, ricotta cheese. For dessert I had Sweet fried milk, custard, strawberrys and my wife had Lemon sorbet. This restaurant probably deserves its Michelin listing, as there is no doubting the chef's ability to produce interesting and tasty dishes. The service, however, we found to be rather amateurish when we visited, lacking refinement and attention to detail. We enjoyed our meal but there was no wow factor!

19/07/2023: A relaxed, refined setting, just close enough to the craziness of the main Sestri Levante strip but far enough to feel a world away. Friendly serving staff with a good knowledge of the menu and wine list. Food is very good, technically excellent - some explosive and surprising flavour combinations- small, intricate plates with loads of flavour. Really good blend of techniques and seasonal food. €175 for two courses, a shared antipasti and four glasses of wine.
