Very pleasant location and music... menu a bit to interpret but as soon as you taste what you ordered you are amazed... we left satisfied.....and then kind to my Lilly🐶

My beloved Marusya Marina Sunteeva and I were looking for a place to have dinner while walking around Perugia. We found, as it happens, risotto, interesting orange wine and some strange paintings. In general, the place is colorful. Admire... ❣️🍷🇮🇹

Intimate and welcoming place. The suggestion of wines based on the courses chosen is excellent, in fact original and tasty.

Very nice and informal place in the center of Perugia. I appreciated the cuisine in all departments, from starters to dessert. The selection of wines was good and I liked that they suggested a wine from the area. It's a different place from the usual restaurant, nice caciarone, loud music and owner who like crazy mixes the stuff between the tables facilitating conviviality with the other customers.

Siamo stati a cena a La Fame su consiglio di una cara amica e siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti! Bella atmosfera, cibo ottimo con un bel menù originale e appetitoso! Giuseppe credo sia veramente una persona con un animo speciale, dato la play list musicale di sottofondo che mi ha evocato bei ricordi ! Tornerò sicuramente!

A dark Sunday night in Perugia. Early September. You’re walking through the medieval alleys, looking for some light. Suddenly you hear celestial sound; notes from heaven. Oh, here it is! La fame. A beating heart of Perugia and an absolute must-visit for jazz enthusiasts. You’re sitting down next to a pianist, you order a drink, and you feel alive. Can be experienced alone, however we recommend sharing this frequency with someone dear to your heart. Be that your mom, your drug dealer or your long lost friend from university that you made out with at graduation and reconnected after 3 years and now you’re exchanging emails and bodily fluids and you decided to come to Italy to experience the last scampoli d’estate. It starts to rain, but you barely notice it, because you forgot that there is a world outside of La Fame. The musicians wish you buonanotte, and they leave. But the magic stays. The owner puts on Fever by Patti Labelle, pours you a glass of bourbon and everything feels like a fever dream. The hungover despair which haunted me for the next day, made me question a lot. No doubts about La Fame tho…

A little too pretentious, the food was still excellent, the portion small, considering that we are in Umbria, little more than a taste.
