Excellent Bocconi, with vegan options available. The place is clean and well-kept, and the lady at the counter is always very kind and smiling. Leave in a good mood!

I've been coming to Abruzzo and trying bocconotti for over 40 years. These from Casa del Bocconotto are exceptional. The dough is soft and flavorful, and the fillings are each better than the last. The classic one is unlike anything else out there... you have to try it at least once! The place is a bit hidden, but your GPS will direct you to a delicious snack!

🧁Bocconotto, a typical Abruzzo dish 🧁 🌈A unique and truly unexpected location (it sounds bad to say, but it's true!). Beautiful and colorful decor, just like in a video, makes you feel at home; the antique equipment is on display, complete with its dialect names. The photos are very clear and comprehensive, so I recommend stopping by. 🌈Exceptional staff, and they even gave us a free savory bocconotto to try. 🌈 Excellent food, lactose-free and gluten-free options, a 5⭐️ table setting, and what else can I say? ‼️Ah, the bill! Very fair, and tipping is a must (even though we Italians suck at tipping).

Gluten-free Bocconotti excellent!!!! Staff informed about celiac disease and attentive to contamination. Place present in the AiC circuit. I recommend this place also to celiac people

Great selection of bocconotti, easy to find place between Lanciano and Castelfrentano. Also great gluten free bocconotti.. highly recommended!!!

the best morsels of Castel Frentano and the whole area. Really artisanal, excellent in every ingredient, they have a crazy flavor... and above all they are always fresh!!! Finally, a word about the staff, always super friendly and with a smile on their faces!!!

i migliori bocconotti di Castel Frentano e di tutta la zona. Realmente artigianali,ottimi in ogni suo ingrediente,hanno un sapore pazzesco...e soprattutto sono sempre freschi!!! Infine un cenno sullo staff,sempre super gentile e con il sorriso sulla bocca!!!

11/11/2025: Vegans take note! I had a beautiful dining experience at Civico 20. I was greeted like family during a very busy time when I did not have a reservation. I dined outside with a beautiful view of the castle and mountains. They have several delicious vegan options on the menu. Warm bread and fresh olive oil for dipping started the meal. I had the Peasant’s Soup for antipasto. It was a warm and delicious stew. I then had the Rintrocili pasta dish which was pasta and mushrooms cooked to perfection in a truffle cream sauce. I had no room for dessert but they even have vegan dessert options. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant (whether you’re vegan or not). It was the perfect ending to my castle visit. Thank you Valentina and Nico!
03/11/2025: I happened upon Civico 20 during my trip and was pleasantly surprised! Carefully prepared and flavorful local dishes, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and kind and attentive service. An authentic place where you eat truly well, highly recommended! 🍷✨

19/08/2025: This wine shop is a gem in the historic center of Vasto. The interior is truly rustic, the wine selection is truly extensive, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to guide my partner and I to the perfect wine according to our tastes (even with unusual wines by the glass, like mine, which was a bit acidic). The platter is spectacular, all the food is top-notch. In short, this is a must-see if you're passing through Vasto!
19/08/2025: A little gem in the center of Vasto, where my partner and I enjoyed an excellent glass of wine and a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses. The staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable! We'll definitely be back!
