Pequeño lugar rápido para conseguir helado después de la cena. ¡Bueno y rápido! Recomendable si estás en la zona y quieres un dulce mientras caminas.

The pastry chef was super nice and really helped me out at the last minute before a friend's birthday. Thanks to him, I got a fantastic cake – and it was delicious! Thank you so much – it was a real lifesaver!

For my first time in the Jewish neighborhood of Rome, my boyfriend and I stopped at this pastry shop. Although there are Austrian and American desserts, we tried the Jewish pizza, the tart with sour cherries and the strudel. The pastry shop is lovely and its proximity to the Portico di Ottavia makes it ideal for a small snack. Despite this, the prices are a bit high for desserts and none of the three fully satisfied us.

A true small all-natural pastry shop. Despite being in one extremely touristic spot, they serve great traditional cakes, some of them inspired by the viennoise fine pastry tradition, which even excel the originals.
That is the case for their Sacher. After trying it at the Sacher hotel in Vienna, I decided that was not made for me, but when I tried it in the "lilliput" size at the Dolceroma, I kept going day after day to get one more!
The tradition is perceived just by looking at the pastry workshop, visible from the outside, where the love for their job can be seen while waiting.

In the heart of the Jewish Quarter, just steps from the charming Portico d'Ottavia, lies this historic pastry shop, a small gem specializing in traditional Austrian pastries. Despite its small size, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the outdoor tables offer a pleasant view of the portico, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The service is friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the products and the location, making it a recommended stop for those seeking a slice of Austria in the heart of Rome. We'll definitely be back to discover other specialties!
