Delicious ice cream! We only ordered takeaway. Dogs aren't allowed inside, but apparently they are outside if they're on a leash.

I absolutely disagree with the assessment of rudeness from the staff and the owner. Either I've been particularly lucky the dozens of times I've been there, or one of the reviewers is particularly sensitive, because I must say I've always received an excellent welcome from the owner and staff. A review, even a negative one, should, in my humble opinion, be constructive and critical in the etymological sense of the word, otherwise it tends to simply disparage. Giving one star because the coffee ordered is a little too long or was delivered a minute late doesn't constitute good service. The limitations and flaws worth pointing out are entirely different. That said, I'll start: the place is spotless, and in the bathrooms you could eat on the floor even at peak times. The quality of the raw materials is top-notch. Obviously, the prices are high, but adequate and justified. If you want a good product, you have to pay for it. I can say in good conscience that this is the best bar-ice cream shop in the area that I've visited. There's ample parking out front, and the passion with which the family has run the place for decades definitely deserves a fifth star... I say this as a fellow camper (with an on-site restaurant) with admiration and respect. Over and out.
