                Young, knowledgeable guys. They love their job, and it shows. The menu is never boring, always looking for a personal touch.                 Coming back from a day in Porto Cesareo, Lucia, my wife, says to me: "Why don't we go eat at that restaurant your colleague/friend Flaviano recommended? What's it called?" And I say: "Oh no... Flaviano never gets us..." She: "Come on... trust him... also because his wife Marina really likes these parts... I think it was called "La Dispensa dei Raccomandati" (The Recommended Pantry). Oh well... I'll give in... When we arrive in front of the restaurant, a very kind lady greets us. We tell her we didn't have a reservation. She finds us a table in 3 minutes. Very welcoming place, not too big, with space between the tables. The menu is very inviting with fish-based dishes. Lucia: excellent fish parmigiana; well balanced and not too "heavy", main course: perfectly cooked grilled swordfish. Me: tuna tartare, delicious, and paccheri with red tuna and tomato; excellent, perfectly cooked. The wine recommended by the girl who served us was very good and paired well with our dishes. Excellent value for money. What can I say... highly recommended place!! Finally, we learned that at the table next to us, along with other diners, three-starred chef Guy Martin, owner of the gourmet restaurant Le Grand Véfour in Paris, was dining, and he complimented us on the dinner!                 Didn’t have any fresh whole fish or prawns so maybe I missed out. Dish of the day was the local pasta with crab sticks and one clam.
