Great food, good service, we will be back

If they tell me to come at 9.45 I don't expect to be left standing waiting for the table until 10.30. I understand that you can't tell customers to get up, but you can't even tell them to wait three quarters of an hour to sit down. I don't recommend the first ones.

This small and charming restaurant is located among the alleys of the historic center in the heart of Nardò. A very pleasant walk in just a few minutes, you can appreciate the historic streets of the centre, classics of this wonderful region. We had the opportunity to taste an excellent tuna tartare, essentially plated, served at the right temperature, seasoned with salt, pepper and oil, a few but excellent ingredients that allow it to enhance its taste without losing the flavor of the main element "tuna". . Two first courses, spaghetti alla guitar with purple prawns, and paccheri with swordfish, black olives and cherry tomatoes, good, good combinations between land and sea. All accompanied by an excellent Chardonnay wine aged in barrique. The staff are truly qualified, very kind, very polite and very well trained. I dare say far too patient with the most demanding customers. I believe that these small businesses like this small restaurant also allow you to savor the flavor and scent of Salento. Very good and fresh food, dishes cooked very well, they were very courteous and excellent service, I don't feel like giving 5 stars because my frying was not at all up to par with the other dishes, both in terms of quality and cooking level, it was hard and chewy, but overall it's worth it, I recommend it

Very simple dishes and the fish felt fresh, the waiters were kind, friendly and approachable. I expected the portions to be slightly larger from the photos but all in all we had a good evening!

My expectations were disappointed compared to the reviews published. The food is good but it's not a place I would return to. It was very hot inside, perhaps because the air conditioners were unable to cool. Starters poor and not excellent in preparation. Simple pasta and in any case it had the advantage of being light. I can't give more than 3 stars.

Non-existent service, disorganized, 4 diners each ate on their own, the courses arrived about half an hour apart. Honest food, nothing special, good fig and almond spumone
