On our way back from a visit to the superb Verrucole Fortress (which I highly recommend), we stopped here for a bite to eat. The choice was between sandwiches and a platter, and we opted for the latter. The platter, for two, was generous with excellent cured meats—the lardo in particular was divine—and cheeses, accompanied by a small bowl of excellent local honey and sweet and sour pickled onions. A delicious homemade bread and focaccia completed this delicious meal overlooking Mount Pisanino.

A casual spot for a quick lunch of sandwiches and/or platters. The hostess welcomed us warmly, informing us that there's no kitchen. The platter she served for two would have been enough for at least three. It was generous and delicious.

We ate outside after a lovely walk around the lake (May - a fantastic sunny day). Homemade farro taliatelle with porcini mushrooms melted in your mouth, and ricotta and spinach ravioli with porcini mushrooms were delicious. For the main course, peasant-style pamodoro, seasoned with oil and onions, was incredibly tasty. They also have enormous steaks, but one course was enough for us. Very fair prices, friendly and fast service. I recommend.

28/08/2025: This small restaurant is somewhat hidden away, but the service and ambiance are wonderful. We had several very good meals here during our vacation. The fresh fish is expertly prepared, cut at the table, and tastes great. The desserts are also very tasty (Crème Catalan is amazing). The price is perfectly reasonable. We paid around €110 for three people, including drinks, an appetizer, dessert, and a cappuccino. You can sit outside or inside. It's not big, but it's very cozy. We would eat here again anytime. Thank you for the great service.
