An excellent restaurant in the center of Ancona, with a beautiful view of the harbor. The service is attentive without ever being intrusive, starting with the sparkling wine and the welcome appetizer, which make you feel pampered. The food is truly delicious, with a varied grilled fish menu. Recommended, I'll definitely be back.

The best restaurant in Ancona, hands down. I've been there twice. Delicious food, wonderful central location with beautiful views. Delicious food. Incredible staff, but the best part: Susan remembered my name and my tastes the second time I went. Incredible. Highly recommended, and the best value for money.

Perhaps I set out with too high expectations, but I didn't find the excellence I'd glean from the reviews. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and cheerful, which is undoubtedly a plus. However, the service was a little slow, and aside from the good starters, the rest didn't leave much of an impression. The meat was dry and unseasoned, the eggplant didn't win me over, the vegetables weren't crunchy, and the chips were cold. The same goes for the desserts: the degopassion stick tasted only of white chocolate, as did the degomisu. I also recommend banning smoking at the tables on the outdoor terrace, as they're very close together. Unfortunately, I ended up at a table nearby where someone was sitting who smoked continuously without even ordering a dish, further ruining an already less than satisfying experience. For the prices charged, they need to improve a little.

A fantastic place with excellent service and, most importantly, delicious food. We recommend the marinated salmon appetizer 👌 and for the main course, the seafood with vegetables in tempura and turbot – everything was delicious and perfected in every detail 👏

Based on the positive reviews I'd read online, I decided to book a table for two for dinner. I couldn't have made a better choice. The atmosphere is that of a true osteria. Excellent for the quality of the food and the speed of the service.

Looking for a place for dinner that wasn't about to close, we were drawn to a colorful and brightly lit lobby... and welcomed with kindness and attention! We ordered well-executed and tasty meat dishes, beautifully presented, and a truly delicate dessert to finish. The price was average. Excellent dinner, recommended!!!

I went to Degosteria with my mother for her birthday and we couldn't have asked for anything better 🤩😍. The food was EXCELLENT!! The dishes are carefully crafted, and each has its own character and flavor that makes you fall in love with each dish. For starters, we ordered: - Roasted octopus with potato rosti and Parmesan, green tomato chutney, and mint oil. - Crispy tempura cod bites, yogurt sauce, and sweet and sour red onion. SPECTACULAR!! The flavors were all perfectly paired. Then we continued with the first courses: - Our tuna carbonara - Gnocchi au gratin with Conero mussels, provola cheese, and dried tomatoes. All I can say is "WOW!" Two AMAZING dishes. The tuna carbonara may seem absurd, but it's real and delicious, and... fun, haha. Because it's served with a poached egg that must be cracked and mixed in to complete the dish. The carbonara may seem like a strong dish, but it turns out to be very delicate and refined. And then let's talk about the mussel gnocchi. SUPERB. As you eat them, you'll feel like you're being caressed by a warm embrace that, in my opinion, embodies all the flavor of Ancona. Finally, we finished the meal with a - Dark chocolate tart, pistachio heart, and pistachio semifreddo. Which lived up to the high expectations of the other dishes and was a perfect end to our lunch. The owner, who waits the tables himself, is a super nice person and, above all, passionate about his restaurant and his work. La Degosteria isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience, and I'll definitely be back to try other dishes and their "seasonal change" (the menu changes frequently to keep up with seasonal ingredients and always offer something new). Highly recommended!!

I had the tuna cutlets with arugula, creamy fresh cheese, sweet and sour onions, and teriyaki sauce. What can I say? It was spectacular.
