Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in Sicily, where the highly qualified staff welcomed us with professionalism and warmth. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely return and recommend it to everyone for a relaxing and cultural vacation.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Relais Antica Badia – San Maurizio 1619, and it was an experience I will cherish for a long time. Entering this historic residence is like taking a journey through time: every detail is meticulously curated, the rooms exude the charm of centuries of history, yet with all the modern comforts that welcome you and make you feel instantly at home. What makes this place special, however, is not only its beauty, but also its hospitality. Sincere thanks to the director, Ignazio Ottaviano, whose kindness and attentiveness make every guest feel unique. It's rare to meet people who can so effortlessly combine professionalism and warmth: thanks to him and his staff, you feel welcomed as friends, not simply as guests. The Relais Antica Badia is more than just a hotel: it's a haven for the soul, a place to relax, breathe in history, and be enveloped in the magic of Ragusa and Sicily. I can't wait to return.

We highly recommend this very pleasant stopover: the staff were charming and efficient. The location was perfect. Exceptional breakfast in a magnificent room. Originally decorated room with a beautiful view of the cathedral. We highly recommend this hotel.

Well, the hotel is in the new part of town, not in the old city, which is about a 25-minute walk downhill with lots of steps. The hallways are very dirty, and the bathroom, considering the size of the room, is uncomfortable and very small. The breakfast is very basic; it doesn't include eggs, they charge extra for them. The hotel is really far from a 5-star hotel. Good AC

I love Ragusa, it’s a very special place. Toured all over Sicily and it was my favourite place, for me, with its rich history, fascinating past and rustic architecture located on a rock 🪨 making it a fascinating place to explore. The hotel and staff were perfect. Would be my place to revisit on Sicily 100%. It’s hilly so be prepared to walk, or just use taxis and buses. It’s a great place !!

The hotel and room were beautiful, and the staff was friendly. However, the air conditioning was poor, and the bathroom counter in Room 101 was damaged. The bed and pillows could also be upgraded, which was disappointing considering the hotel’s reputation for quality. The hotel’s website states that they have on-site parking, but it doesn’t. Public parking is available approximately 100 yards away, but please note that cash is required for parking payment, as credit card transactions are not accepted at the kiosk. The breakfast was basic but good.

We spent our wedding night in this wonderful structure, the suite we booked is nothing short of fairytale like the staff who welcomed and pampered us. I recommend booking the spa with massage to live a unique experience. We will definitely be back
