La cuisine dell'Antica Badia In Ragusa

A hotel favor. It is located next to the Cathedral of San Giovanni which is in plain sight looking out from the windows of Corso Italia. The staff and in particular the director are exquisite people.

We booked at the Relais antica Badia after, with less than 48 hours notice, the previous structure had canceled our reservation. We were a couple with a 6 month old baby girl. The hotel has incredible staff: friendly, precise, helpful. The rooms are beautiful, well-kept, as is the entire structure. Breakfast is refined and refined, with a balanced buffet and tasty options (freshly stuffed cannoli, an exquisite croissant filled with ricotta, savory pie, fresh and cooked ricotta...) The perfect location for visiting the city. If we return to Ragusa we will definitely stay here again!

Charming hotel!! The rooms are truly very beautiful, especially the superior ones!! Breakfast in a splendid frescoed hall; the hotel was created from a noble residence with a truly fantastic renovation!! I highly recommend it!!

We stayed at this hotel after we were involved in a car accident during our holiday to Italy. From the moment arrived, we felt welcome and the staff did everything they could to help us. I was on strict bed rest for the first 8 days of our stay. We had room service breakfast beautifully presented every day, plates brought to our room for take aways we brought in, staff recommended places near by that offered take away etc. We needed some documents etc printed and this was done for us with no issues. They communicated with visiting doctors etc for us. They even provisionally held rooms for us so they were not lost prior to the travel insurance confirming these. We needed a wheelchair to move rooms mid stay and the hotel kindly rented this for us. Nothing we needed was ever a problem and the staff went above and beyond. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms were lovely and beds extremely comfortable. The cleaners were happy to clean around us when we were in the room as I could not leave. I wish we could have stayed under better circumstances but they made my recovery incredibly comfortable. I cannot thank the staff enough and will be forever grateful.

Beautiful place to stay. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by an atmosphere of design and elegance that is not lost even in the rooms. They take great care of the details, maximum cleanliness even though it shouldn't be easy due to the exclusive decoration there. Good size rooms, very friendly staff and a beautiful room for breakfast. Very preserved. The only notable drawback is the air conditioning system, which seemed quite old, did not work well or did not cool as it should.
