Come sempre venire a mangiare da Emilio é un piacere, atmosfera familiare, cucina buonissima ed ogni volta che ritorno c'é sempre qualche novità da gustare.

After a day at the beach, I wanted to eat fish and feel at home.
I had the pleasure of meeting Michele, he welcomed us with a smile and professionalism! He explained every single course; it was an explosion of taste and freshness of the products that are ALL local. At the end of the dinner, some amaro made by them was offered. What can I say, impeccable, see you next time!

We had lunch at this restaurant, after taking the boat trip to the submerged bay. We really had a great time! Michele welcomed us and entertained us throughout lunch. He made us experience true Neapolitan hospitality and friendliness! We were 4 adults and 6 children. We adults chose the tasting of appetizers with a fixed price first course. Really really rich. Three of us chose the fish one, where I must tell the truth the fish was very fresh (exceptional mussels!). All very very good! The 10-course tasting never ended! Dishes cooked with simplicity, (don't expect gourmet dishes or Masterchef-style plating, let's be clear, it's a tavern). My vegetarian friend applauded because finally she was not served the classic and sad dish with grilled vegetables and cheeses, but a truly original and rich appetizer. Abundant portions (as Michele says, you can't be a tavern if you don't expect 120 grams of pasta per person!). They were also very nice for the children: they offered a plate of really delicious seaweed pancakes! My son, who chose the mussel linguine, said it was so good he couldn't help but finish it all! And the bill was really super, 4 adults and 6 children, 160 euros! And we even left the first half because we really couldn't take it anymore! Thank you so much Michele! When we return to those parts, we will definitely stop by your place!

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante, dopo aver fatto l'escursione in barca alla baia sommersa. Siamo stati davvero benissimo! Michele ci ha accolto e intrattenuto per tutto il pranzo. Ci ha fatto provare la vera accoglienza e simpatia partenopea! Eravamo 4 adulti e 6 bambini. Noi adulti abbiamo scelto la degustazione di antipasti con primo a prezzo fisso. Davvero davvero ricchissima. In 3 abbiamo scelto quella di pesce, dove devo dire la verità si sentiva il pesce freschissimo (cozze eccezionali!). Tutto molto molto buono! La degustazione di 10 portate non finiva mai! Piatti cucinati con semplicità, (non aspettatevi piatti gourmet o impiattamenti da Masterchef, sia chiaro, è un'osteria). La mia amica vegetariana ha fatto un plauso perchè finalmente non le è stato servito il classico e triste piatto con verdure grigliate e formaggi, ma davvero un antipasto originale e ricco. Porzioni abbondanti (come dice Michele, non puoi essere un'osteria se non prevedi 120 grammi di pasta a persona!). Anche per i bambini sono stati carinissimi: hanno offerto un piatto di frittelle di alghe davvero buonissime! Mio figlio che ha scelto le linguine alle cozze, ha detto che era così buona che non poteva non finirla tutta! E il conto davvero super, 4 adulti e 6 bambini, 160 euro! E abbiamo anche lasciato metà primo perchè veramente non ce la facevamo più! Grazie mille Michele! Quando torneremo da quelle parti, passeremo senz'altro da te!

Literally a hole in the wall. No view. No tourists. Only locals eating spectacular seafood in huge portions. Get the tasting menu and prepare for a food coma.

Last Sunday, we were in Bacoli and had lunch at the kitchen of Venus, we ate very well. We took the 30 euro menu with 10 courses of appetizers, paccheri with seafood and fried shrimp, calamari and paranza and mixed salad as a side dish. Drinks excluded. Everything was plentiful and we realized that it was a bit much, in fact next time we will take a different menu. In the end we ordered two coffees which were offered to us and what's more they gave us a three euro discount on the total.

Years ago we discovered this trattoria which mainly serves fish-based dishes, everything always fresh and well prepared by the owner Emilio, a helpful, polite and affable person like his employees. Generous portions and lots of delicious appetizers. I highly recommend it also for the quality/price ratio. ♥️
