How wonderful. We have been fond of this place since its birth, living in the area. I show up on December 26th in the late morning asking for 3 loaves of bread and a white focaccia but it's almost all gone. Maurizio puts a tray in the oven for me and it is ready in a matter of minutes. The availability, skills and kindness that only those who love their work can offer. 5 stars for this and all the other times they have delighted us with their products. Thanks Maurizio and Romana.

Today I had lunch with a dear friend at Cucina di Altamura, where I hadn't been back for a while. We were welcomed and served by a young waiter, Jacopo, of rare education and kindness. It's always very nice to see a young man who is passionate about his work and eager to be kind to customers. Congratulations to Jacopo and to those who offer him the opportunity to cultivate a great profession every day!

I discovered this place in the center of Varese a few years ago. Not finding it anymore, I looked for it and found it in this new location.
I really like this idea of informal gastronomy with generally fresh and very inviting dishes.
The very thin lady, in addition to being very kind, shows that she cares a lot about doing what she does well. I have been doing the same job for many years here in Arona and I think I know how to recognize things.
Maybe the place doesn't make the most of the idea and I find the location a bit sad overall. Such a beautiful idea deserves a different location. But this is obviously just my miserable thought.
For the rest, the prices are fair, the offer is excellent, the service is a little confusing but certainly acceptable for the informal style that I think they deliberately want to maintain.
Both my partner and I will definitely return. We spent a happy hour.
It deserves to become a franchise.
Good luck for your future, may it be full of satisfaction as people who work all day and who do not live on financial income, Bitcoin interest and other similar cowardice deserve.

I am modifying the previous review. I have frequented the place several times recently. The staff proved to be very helpful and kind. The food is great. I had a good time. I'll be back. I recommend it for aperitifs and also for quick dinners and lunches. Valid alternative to the restaurant.

quality food and drinks, prices not exactly low but they justify the location and the quality of the product.
Three times I've been there lately and all three times it took a long time for them to notice us sitting outside. The times were a little long even though we weren't in a hurry so it was negligible.

Il locale esprime la la tipica gastronomia del sud.che permette di sedersi al tavolo e scegliere le pietanze. Ampia scelta e orari flessibili.per quello che ho potuto vedere ha anche una discreta cantina. Noi abbiamo preso antipasti un primo e una bottiglia di vino ed in quattro avevo speso 25 € a testa molto consigliato.
Ottimo locale,un po caruccio ma comunque le ricette sono molto buone,praticamente stiamo pranzando tutti i giorni della settima.
