Spectacular dinner in every respect.

An experience to live, because even the most detailed descriptions wouldn't convey the idea. Attention and care for detail, for the dishes, for the guests, for the place itself together with competence and professionalism... without taking anything away from the lake view that forms the backdrop. Compliments. Special and well-executed dishes, attentive and friendly service. I recommend it.

Beautiful experience: excellent food, interesting mix of traditional dishes revisited in a modern way but without distorting them. Excellent quality ingredients. Good service, attentive and punctual staff. Good selection of wines offered to match the menu. The location is incredible: beautiful views of Lake Orta with the Pella shore and the Madonna del Sasso in plain sight.

Fantastic surroundings, but a bit unfortunate service from an otherwise sweet staff. We sat in an overly hot room upstairs, even though I had booked a table half a year ago. We were served hot water. The food tasted lovely and was divided into small portions as we wanted.

A real favourite! Thank you for the experience. The vegetable garden is crazy, the arrival in the hotel, the quality and creativity of the decoration, the service and of course the originality and quality of the dishes all contribute to a fantastic experience. A great time and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it !

What a wonderful place! My husband and I were there for our anniversary in the aperitif area where Paola, the bartender (I hope that's the right term) welcomed us with a smile and professionalism, who pampered us with champagne and masterfully executed cocktails, as well as having a friendly and kind to us. The place, as already described by many reviewers, is magical and spectacular, even for us in the area who know certain views, but the tranquility and beauty that you can breathe in Darbia makes you appreciate them even more. Everything was taken care of precisely, given the perfection, cleanliness and order found all around. Chef Matteo Monfrinotti went around the tables and always had a kind and friendly word, as well as checking if everything was fine and everything was to our liking. He also informed us that if we wanted, we could also stay for a dinner with a menu from the garden in the aperitif area, which we will certainly do in the future (that evening we also had other commitments, but we will certainly return). To conclude: magnificent place, polite, kind and professional staff, impeccable host, food and wine quality of the highest level, aperitif prices in line with other places which however do not have such a high level location and service (2 glasses of champagne and 4 cocktails 81 €). What else?

Unforgettable culinary experience in this gourmet restaurant with splendid views of Lake Orta (a few kilometers from Orta San Giulio). We tasted from the à la carte menu: - Snapper served raw, shellfish sauce, crab ravioli, sweet and sour courgette, crunchy millefeuille. -Carnaroli in bruschetta: Risotto, tomatoes, oregano, crunchy bread - Livorno style mussels, bruschetta with parsley, sautéed agretti -Bonet: Soft chocolate, hot amaretto and caramel foam, crunchy wafer, amaretto ice cream -Rhubarb cream, baci di dama millefeuille, basil oil, red fruits, goat yoghurt. All accompanied by a bottle of wine, for a total of €200. Each dish was a blend of unique and contrasting flavours, which paired perfectly. The service was excellent (welcome entrée and post-dessert were also served), but the greatest pleasure was seeing chef Matteo Monfrinotti pass between the tables and being able to exchange a few words with him. The location is unique and refined: internal room overlooking a splendid garden with terrace, where the tables are arranged in the summer season. Highly recommended for a special dinner! A truly superlative experience! I went here for a family Sunday lunch. Simply enchanting location, from the entrance to the passage through their vegetable garden overlooking the lake, to then arrive at the terrace with the tables under the trees, a truly magical place. Good and well-made Piedmontese tasting menu, interesting dishes executed to perfection. I particularly appreciated the pasta with Bra sausage and parmesan cream, truly excellent! The menu is very balanced, everything ends with a panna cotta with three sauces which is truly a worthy conclusion to the meal. Then there is a surprise brought with the coffee... gianduiotto lovers will go crazy for it. Mention for the service, simply excellent: present and fast without being intrusive (thanks Dimitri!). I also really appreciated the availability of the chef who pops into the room to have a chat with the guests. Again: simply a superlative experience, keep up the good work you are a jewel of our lake!

quando il tempo lo permette e siamo in piena estate il poter cenare qui con vista lago d'Orta vale hià il conto . Servizio precisocoordinato da un sardo... Menu è il suggerimento che mi sento di supportare. CONSIGLIATO......anche se purtroppo i prezzi non consentono visite più frequenti.

Ecco la recensione corretta: Dopo essermi recato, posso dire che, nonostante la location stupenda, ho trovato una cucina che, pur con numerose preparazioni, non mi ha saputo entusiasmare… I prezzi sono comunque in linea con la location e la preparazione dello staff di sala e cucina. (Antipasto, primo, dolce e una bottiglia in due: €100 a persona)
