A very "smart" place, but of good quality, where you can eat everything quickly. The only flaw is the location which does not offer much parking possibilities.

Excellent Sicilian desserts, the baked cassata is recommended!

Cubana's pizza is one of the best pizzas I eat often... for me it's a point of reference when I want to take a pizza home or even eat it there...

La Cubana Bar Pasticceria is a true point of reference for those who love Sicilian pastries and quality breakfasts in Palermo. Every time I enter, I am greeted by an irresistible aroma of freshly baked pastries and perfectly brewed espresso. The quality of the products is excellent: the croissants are fragrant and filled with fresh and abundant ingredients, while the miniature pastries and typical Sicilian desserts – such as cannoli and cassata – are simply delicious. The cream is velvety, the ricotta is perfectly balanced and the authentic flavor takes you back to the best traditions of Sicilian pastry making. The service is always courteous and fast, even at busy times. The staff is friendly and attentive to detail, making the experience even more pleasant. I ordered the Cuban rotisserie and cake for my son's 1 year birthday. Nothing to say about the order and home delivery service because they were punctual and precise although I would recommend giving the customer upon delivery of the goods a receipt with how much they are paying per kg for the things they take because there wasn't much transparency. I have no idea how much I paid for the cake or the miniatures but they only told me the total amount that I paid out of trust. The material ordered was what I asked for but I was extremely disappointed with the cake. We threw away half of it. Luckily I had made another cake because I'm quite good at making desserts because if there had only been that one I would have made a bad impression. The cream was not fresh but vegetable one because it didn't have any taste of good cream. The strawberries were few and tasteless, the sponge cake was insignificant and completely dry, so much so that it separated completely from the cream. Horrible, really. And I'm sorry because I had decided on the Cuban one precisely because I remembered with pleasure my birthday cake (always cream and strawberries) which was delicious! What a pity :( As for the mignons, they were good except for the arancini which were not to my liking. I don't think I will order from this bar again.
