I went for lunch on two Sundays in the space of 3 weeks. Unfortunately both times the tasting menu was not available, the first time due to a table of Alpine soldiers which probably made it more difficult to manage individual orders. The second time, today, the waiters were unable to tell me the reason (!!!!), with the aggravating circumstance that many of the individual dishes on the tasting menu were not available (all the first courses and the guinea fowl). I'm perplexed, especially since the quality of the food I took was good, as was the case with the other diners' dishes, apart from a very thin fillet full of nerves (perhaps sirloin????). After the first lunch, I had given it a second chance. Now, I don't know if I'll go back: I wasn't happy with this discrepancy between dishes on the menu and dishes actually available.

Excellent location. Excellent tables inside and outside. Very good courtesy and service. I didn't give 5 stars because the 4 desserts ordered were absolutely not up to the standard of starters, first course, second course. Place for everyone.

In a word… excellent! Cuisine, wine list, environment all perfect.

Second time at the Crota de Carlos, I will definitely go back, good food, courtesy from everyone. The price is also very good. Well done

Good appetizer, having gone there to enjoy some fried mushrooms, unfortunately the disappointment was great, we ate some mushrooms but the taste of the mushrooms was not evident, I was not alone and the same thing happened to the other person too, fried mushrooms but the taste was the same to zero, good dessert and bubbles too, kind and friendly but...

It is precisely in the message written at the checkout that you understand the essence of this place. We are in a small village overlooking the hills and vineyards, you have to stay calm, you don't have to be in a hurry and you have to enjoy the time that passes placidly and slowly and the company of good food and wine. Typical Piedmontese cuisine and wines of all labels, you eat well and drink better. Recommended for those who want to slow down for a moment.

Het eten smaakte goed, maar …… : De ober (heer des huizes) moest alle bediening alleen doen en had het daardoor te druk, met lange wachttijden als gevolg. De vrouw des huizes deed alleen de afrekening, die aan de hoge kant was. Het terras biedt een mooi uitzicht maar is te warm, doordat het niet alleen overkapt is met een (zwart) dak, maar ook is voorzien van wanden met schuiframen. Binnen was de temperatuur goed.

È vero, non è MasterChef e in cucina non c'è Cracco... è cucina casalinga nel senso più evocativo: è come se ogni piatto fosse cucinato per i propri cari, con ottime materie prime, esperienza e tradizione. Unica nota negativa, non ci sono piaciuti molto i dolci. Grazie per l'accoglienza, ci torneremo.
