La Costa In Orsomarso

We were with our group of motorcyclists Noi in Moto from 11th to 17th August and I am truly thrilled with this experience. The structure is a little dated but immersed in nature crossed by the Argentino river which offers a wonderful view that overshadows this small flaw. We were delighted with exquisite dishes, the best was the fusilli with goat sauce prepared exclusively by grandmother Co' (Cosima), a woman who dispensed culinary art and smiles at the same time. At the tables, however, there was Andrea, a friendly, nice guy who even indulged our "whims". He had his grandmother prepare for us Co' Spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli pepper and an excellent baked chicken with potatoes (sorry Andrea 😂) The rooms on the other hand were renovated, "minimal" but comfortable furnishings, and clean. The lady who arranged the rooms was also very kind. A final thank you goes to Mariano the owner of the structure who welcomed us warmly and above all for having reliable collaborators at his side who made these days WONDERFUL. We will be back and will definitely recommend this place

we were guests of this structure in the week following August. I believe the location is strategic to be able to enjoy a cool climate and go on excursions in the Pollino park but at the same time be able to enjoy the sea. Unfortunately in the period we chose for our holiday (22/08-25/08) Scalea is impracticable for those who want to enjoy the wide Calabrian beaches without having to come across intrusive neighbors with umbrellas... too many people!! We solved it by moving to the seaside in Grisolia... large spaces and little Neapolitan tourism to the advantage of few locals. Definitely quieter and cleaner sea. Regarding the B&B, the rooms are clean, tidied up daily to the right size. There was no table or fridge and they are poorly soundproofed. Instead we had a small balcony with a drying rack for beach stuff... definitely useful. The breakfast included in the price was good but without the possibility of choice (in the sense that there was no buffet), which put us in the position of having to request some variations due to our habits which however were welcomed with availability and courtesy. We had dinner at the property one evening. Great price and good food. The staff was discreet and welcoming. The owner of the property was very kind and helpful. We didn't use the swimming pool, which I initially considered as an alternative to the sea. Small and overcrowded with guests from outside the B&B, but still a plus perhaps at other times of the summer season. Overall we had a good time. To get to the structure there is a small bridge over the river, very beautiful!! The car can be left before the bridge and then walk a few steps to enter the structure. I think we'll be back. The structure is on the path to then reach the river waterfall. It has agreements for rafting and other activities in the reserve. The town of Orsomarso is easily accessible from the property and is very characteristic. Excellent cured meats and cheeses. They accept electronic payments.

New rooms, well kept and clean, (the only flaw is a fridge in the room)... quiet place away from the chaos... very kind and helpful owners... If I have to make a note I'll do it on breakfast... where you can't choose, but it's brought to you according to your taste... I would have preferred a small buffet where everyone can take what they like... with more fruit, maybe one all homemade etc...

Recommendation for family, mid-August with swimming pool, good food and pure air.

This place offers delicious food and a refreshing swimming pool, perfect for hot weather. However, the men's public toilets were in poor condition, with some fixtures broken and the area not adequately cleaned.
