We had a fantastic long Sunday lunch at this charming restaurant in the Salento (30min from Lecce) that serves typical local dishes like nonna used to make. The service could not be faulted - both the owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. The antipasti were fantastic and every consecutive dish we had was equally delicious- as it was winter, they were slow cooked on the fire which added to the extra special experience. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Salento dining experience.

Beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming place. The staff is always attentive, and the chef is talented and friendly. The ingredients are excellent, with a special mention for the sublime "cacio e pepe" (pasta with cheese and pepper) prepared on a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel: an experience you absolutely must try!

Homemade food, delicious and flavorful, richly seasoned like the grandmothers of Salento... A feast for the eyes and the palate, rich in authentic local flavors. Highly recommended if you want to experience these pleasures.

A warm and authentic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Massimo, the owner and chef, a caring and passionate person who truly knows how to make guests feel at home. The rustic and charming atmosphere fully reflects the soul and values ​​of Salento, made even more evocative by the burning fireplaces, which I personally kept burning, precisely at Massimo's recommendation. The dishes are all meticulously prepared, with care and respect for tradition, yet with a touch of refinement that makes all the difference. Each course tells a story of local tradition and passion. The staff is extremely professional, helpful, and always attentive to the needs of their guests. A special thanks goes to Massimo, who, despite the limited availability for lunch on New Year's Eve, still managed to find a spot for us, demonstrating great attention and hospitality. This is a restaurant I recommend without hesitation.
