Good food, wine could be improved. Yesterday we had dinner with a small group. We ordered a sparkling wine. It was served to us to taste, and we pointed out that it was warm. The waiter said he had brought the wine cooler, but despite everything, he was pouring the wine into the glasses. If he had, the wine would have ended up in the glasses warm, and there would have been very little wine left in the cooler to chill. If the customer orders wine that isn't at the right temperature, they should be notified. The cooler is only there to maintain the temperature. When our main courses arrive, we order a red and ask him, before ordering it, if it's at the right temperature, and he says yes... In reality, the red was at room temperature, which is not good in the summer. Reds should be served between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.

This year I celebrated a significant birthday: my 50th. I wanted it to be a wonderful evening for me and especially for the guests, not all of whom were from Bologna. Since I wanted everything to be perfect, I coordinated every dish with Mr. Paolo, who was extremely helpful and organized flawlessly. The service was perfect (friendly and knowledgeable staff), excellent food (the risotto was superb for everyone, as was the artichoke tart as an appetizer), excellent wines, and an equally excellent cake. Everyone appreciated my gift at the end of the evening, and as a memento, the "King's Biscuits," which combine history and tradition. For me, it was the best birthday ever. Characteristic setting in a 16th century courtyard, kind and discreet staff, good quality of food (well plated) and wines (strictly bottled). Convenient parking, reasonable price.

The location is nice, located in a village that has an ancient feel, as far as the food is concerned they have changed over the years, yesterday for example I ordered the balsamic vinegar sweets which is a first course that I often take and there they did not disappoint me, but when they brought the Crescentine and the tigelle with cutting board I have to say that I was very disappointed by the greasy Crescentine, then for the rest it is average, not great but not bad either, so I give it a passing grade! I went back today Monday 8/8/22 and unfortunately I have to say that everything has gotten worse, the service was poor and slow, the dishes expensive and unappetizing, I was not happy at all nor were I and the other diners, the location remains beautiful, it's a real shame I went back last night 2/6/25 I added a star, they improved many things, I ate very well, the only thing I liked less were the tomatoes au gratin because they hadn't rated them internally, so they were not very tasty because they tasted of little, however I'm happy, I'll go back soon!

Ottima cena, con altri 7 amici e amiche. Abbiamo gustato ottimi piatti particolarmente curati e appetitosi. Ottimo il servizio: cortese, tempestivo (nonostante fosse sabato sera ed il locale fosse piena) e competente. Buona la carta dei vini . Ambiente ben curato. Costo bolognese. Parcheggio non troppo distante. Torneremo certamente, ci sono altri piatti nel vasto menù che ci piacerebbe gustare.
