La Citta' D'oro In Napoli

It is a very unique restaurant with a traditional Chinese style, serving Wenzhou cuisine. It is said to be the only authentic Chinese restaurant in Naples.

My Chinese friend and I came to try this restaurant. She visited Naples two months ago but wasn't satisfied with the quality of the Chinese restaurants there. Now, La città d'oro is her favorite, and she's recommended it to her friends.

Cheap and delicious. PS I ate here again this year (September 2025). I've been coming here for over a decade. Some people have given it low reviews, but I think it's a good restaurant. Today I had shrimp fried rice, stir-fried shrimp and egg, and shumai. They were delicious.

Delicious food for a very good price, an ideal change from pizza or pasta.

It's a bit hidden, but the food is really good at affordable prices. I recommend it.

Very quiet atmosphere. The waiters often don't speak Italian very well, but through telekinesis we always manage to understand each other. Every time I go, I always have the same mantra: Chinese beer, a couple of appetizers to share with the other person, and then a main course like sautéed soy noodles, which are a delight. The prices are really reasonable; you leave there like the Buddha you see at the entrance. The lady at the cashier is very kind, always allowing us to pay for our portions separately (we're gypsies). At the end of the meal, it's traditional to roll a spliff and smoke it with port, or so the legends of the dragon warrior say. I'd trust her...

My mom and I are regulars at this little restaurant, just steps from the port and the Naples metro. Excellent and affordable food, fast service, and friendly, smiling waiters. They also offer an all-you-can-eat option, but we usually order the regular menu (more choices). Every time we're in Naples, we have to stop here! ☺️

We absolutely loved the food here. It is worth the visit if you’re in Naples. Must try are the Chicken dumplings, shrimp fried rice.
