This restaurant is located in the heart of Caprarola, just steps from Palazzo Farnese, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We started with a platter of Tuscia cured meats and cheeses (€16), which included some incredibly delicious bruschetta with lard, some puff pastry filled with 'nduja (I couldn't tell if it was spicy sauce or something), some really good cold cuts (prosciutto crudo, loin, and salami), and finally, a variety of delicious cheeses (a classic pecorino, one with truffles, and another I couldn't tell). Then we had some Pici all'Amatriciana (€10), which I wasn't entirely convinced by, it could have been more flavorful, it tasted like a classic tomato pasta, I'm not sure if that was due to the very thinly sliced ​​guanciale or if it was simply supposed to be more flavorful. We also had a portion of Gnocchetti with white wild boar ragù (€12), which were really good, although I prefer whole pieces of wild boar rather than minced, but this is more of a personal preference. For our second course, we had a portion of Rabbit Roll Stuffed with Porchetta (€18), which was good, but I expected it to be better. The rabbit flavor was barely noticeable, and the porchetta only had the fat and pepper. I expected it to be much more flavorful, and €18 is a lot. Finally, we had a Tiramisu (€5), which was good, and a Chestnut Tart (€5), which was truly delicious, truly delicious. I would also change the bread, which I wasn't entirely convinced by, given that the cured meats are excellent, as are the sauces for mopping up the sauce. The final bill was €72, including still water and two covers, which I think is fair. The service was excellent and very quick. Final rating: 8.4/10

Simply fabulous, we had the bruschetta with lard, two first courses and the desserts and everything was superb, the waitresses were kind and attentive, I highly recommend it

A very pleasant surprise. In the village of Caprarola, I had the opportunity to visit Casa del Gusto two nights in a row. Both nights, everything was perfect. Generous portions. Attentive and smiling staff (which never hurts). The owner was helpful and generous with recommendations for staying in the area. The adjacent shop is also well stocked. Recommended!
