La Casetta Garbatella In Roma

Discovered by chance despite often passing through that area. A pleasant discovery.

A little hidden from the view of the street, near the Garbatella metro, this almost restaurant surprised us with its excellent dishes, beautiful environment and impeccable service.

Excellent food, welcoming environment, friendly staff

I discovered this restaurant a few steps from my house, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, I came for dinner with two friends and you must say that the service, despite the waiters being young, is of a high standard, exceptional cuisine, I tasted the roasted octopus and the tonnarello cacio e pepe with a variation of prawns and lime was something exceptional. Never tried such a good revisited dish. I recommend it to families and friends, very comfortable environment

The food was good and carefully prepared. I don't give a totally positive opinion for these reasons: the prices are decidedly too high for each first course or course; the wine list is pretentious and all are expensive, if you take just one glass you will be served the cheapest by the glass at an inappropriate price. Finally, the thing that a good restaurant should always avoid is serving the various diners at the table not at the same time, this happened to us. Food, no matter how good, eaten while others are watching you, is the most unpleasant thing in a dinner with friends; the usual justification that otherwise it would "get cold" doesn't hold up because, out of politeness as well as embarrassment, the dish still waits untouched on the table, so you might as well wait in the kitchen to then serve everyone together. The staff is very kind. The place is half empty on Saturday evening, it won't be a coincidence and it's a shame. If the managers reviewed their policy there would be excellent potential to get more stars.

You can't cook it yourself at home.

I went for a retirement dinner. Nice place with live music, everything good, only one type of pasta with pea sauce was tasteless, but the rest of the dishes very good. The cod meatballs, amazing.

Experience to be repeated, SPAZIALE cacio e pepe pasta... to try!!!

This experience was fascinating in terms of attention, with the waiters and staff in charge, and the food was super exquisite and the atmosphere is harmonious and very familiar, we were delighted with the attention. I will continue to attend and recommend this beautiful place.
