First time at this restaurant, we made a reservation for four. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, but it's all taken. "Spaces" can be found along the street, just a short walk away. The restaurant is spotless, and the welcome is warm. The small, intimate restaurant offers a complimentary appetizer of bruschetta and a shot of Spritz. Reservations are recommended. We started with the house appetizer... not good... otherwise, I would have given the food 5 stars for value. The appetizer was a bit disappointing, and in my opinion poorly thought out: some cold cuts, a piece of cheese, and a slice of grilled zucchini. We started out a little disappointed, but fortunately things were improving. The Casoncelli Bergamaschi were excellent, perhaps the best I've eaten this year, followed by beef stew with polenta and potatoes. Both the meat and polenta tasted spectacular. We finished with an apple strudel accompanied by a berry sauce, a scoop of ice cream and homemade cream, simply delicious. The price, from appetizer to dessert including coffee and water, was about 30 euros. I'll gladly return, also for the "young" and professional service that welcomes you and greets you with a smile.

We were riding our motorcycles through the passes and valleys in the area and stopped for lunch on Saturday. What can I say? Excellent food, excellent staff, excellent atmosphere, our compliments! The chef and owner are very friendly and helpful, and he's also a motorcyclist and cyclist like us! Best regards, and see you next time!

I returned to La Casera a few days ago after my first family dinner there a few years ago, and we once again had a pleasant evening. I chose the beef tartare as an appetizer and the pork tenderloin with chanterelle mushrooms and baked potatoes as a main course: both dishes were well-prepared and truly delicious. To end things on a sweet note, I couldn't miss the Nutella cream, meringue, and mascarpone dessert—a true treat for the palate! I found the atmosphere just as I remembered it: welcoming and well-kept, perfect for a quiet family dinner. A special thanks to Isra, who looked after us with great kindness and professionalism throughout the evening. A restaurant with great food, worth considering if you're passing through Sant'Omobono.

A great stop after a nice motorcycle ride. The fixed-price menu is more than good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

Fantastic: the food was excellent. Two main courses of polenta with mushrooms and cheese plus a side dish, 1/4 bottle of red wine, water, two delicious desserts (the apple strudel was worth it), coffee, and a cover charge for €36 total for two people... a very nice and well-kept place, I even found parking in front (lucky me). I'll definitely be back as soon as I'm in the area again. Excellent, unparalleled value for money.

On my way back from the Cornabusa Sanctuary, this restaurant is on the way, and I usually have lunch here. The dining room has been renovated and is warm and elegant. The wait staff is friendly and available to answer any questions. I had a first course of fresh gnocchi in a cheese and pumpkin sauce, which were delicious. I was skeptical about the cheese and pumpkin combination, but I have to say it was a perfect match: the pumpkin adds a hint of sweetness and freshness. For the second course, ribs with polenta and roast potatoes. The ribs were cooked with a soft center and a crispy exterior. I've never had ribs this good. The weekday lunch price is €13, including unlimited water, wine, and coffee. Beforehand, I treated myself to an aperitif with excellent prosecco and pieces of parmesan for just €4. All in all, only €17.

First time I visited (I hope there will be more in the future to focus on some aspects that I currently consider 3 stars). The atmosphere is clean and tidy, elegant, with a fireplace that adds a touch of warmth. On a Saturday evening, the staff were adequate for a limited number of customers. They were polite but perhaps too 'upfront' with the customers, giving the impression they were closing soon. We arrived around 7:40 PM, had dinner, and left the restaurant at 9:30 PM because the customers had all left and the place was closing. Perhaps a little too early for a Saturday evening... The food: a first course (risotto) was well cooked but not exceptionally tasty; the second course was the same. Prices were normal. A positive review, but I would like to be able to raise my rating next time.
