Quick lunch. Clean place but a bit of confusion with the staff. I had been before and had menus and service from the waiters. This time, without anyone having warned me, it was self-service. I must have misunderstood... well. Still good and plentiful food.

Perfect business lunch, fast service, the work menu is self service or pizza, the prices are more than honest, I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Friendly and smiling staff, which is not always a given but when you find it it puts you in a good mood, which then changes when you taste the first bite of pasta. It reminds me a lot of the military canteen, managed in the same way, the food put there and you having to serve yourself a single dish that fills everything up risking disaster, but then you realize that you would have been better off limiting the quantity. Quality that rhymes with quantity but not with taste far below sufficiency, an experience not to be repeated, I'm sorry.

The business lunch is buffet style and without limitations. The price is decidedly honest and in line if not lower than the average cost of a business lunch in the area. It's the third time I've come and the buffet always has at least two first courses and two second courses as well as raw and cooked vegetables.

02/11/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria e siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti, oltre che dalla ottima qualità del cibo, anche dalla sapiente gestione del locale. Da Rocco si sta benissimo, locale al completo, ma non affollato; ciascun cliente é ascoltato e servito nei tempi giusti, senza fretta eccessiva e con grande gentilezza. La carne é davvero ottima e particolare menzione va ai dolci fatti in casa, con ingredienti ben selezionati. Torneremo senz'altro e lo consigliamo assolutamente.
20/10/2024: Siamo stati ieri sera alla trattoria Da Rocco ed è stata un’ottima esperienza! Siamo stati accolti e coccolati dalla proprietaria, dal marito e dalla signora della sala: persone gentili e molto competenti. Il cibo ottimo: se ami la carne, questo il tuo posto. Se non la ami…(come me) è il tuo posto lo stesso: polenta con i porcini ottima, selezione di formaggi eccezionale, primi da leccarsi i baffi… per non parlare dei dolci! Non vi resta che prenotare (assolutamente, perché è sempre pieno!) e venire a provare la trattoria!

06/12/2024: It's not the first time we choose to dine in this place... we always happily come back to taste their delicacies! They are located at the beginning of the "promenade" on the long lake of Saló, the internal environments are very particular and well cared for. The staff has always been welcoming, courteous and helpful! The menu offers are very varied, ranging from excellent fish-based dishes to pizzas (the latter are also excellent). This tour I wanted to opt for a fish first course, well what can I say, fabulous! Very generous portion (we enjoyed it a lot) and the prices are perfectly average! Great experience, we will definitely be back!
06/12/2024: Arriving late for lunch (2pm) after visiting the Vittoriale, we (my son and I) were welcomed kindly in this well-kept, clean and welcoming place. We ate a risotto with radicchio, sausage and taleggio, artfully done, a very good spaghetti with clams and an excellent mixed fried dish, light, crunchy and fresh, I'll tell you, I'm Tuscan D.O.C. "seafood". G. I don't know if I will return to Salò, but if I do, I know where to eat to be on the safe side! Well done! Thank you!
