In the age of remote check-ins, finding the warmth of a genuine welcome is truly priceless. This is how Giovanna welcomed us one September evening, when we were on our motorcycle trip a few kilometers from Faicchio and began searching for a place to stop before setting off the following day. With over 200 kilometers under our belt, we were quite desperate after a dozen phone calls from various establishments, all of which told us they had no rooms available without prior notice… Then Giovanna's kind voice said, “If you give me 15 minutes, I'll come and prepare the room for you.” We discovered the farmhouse in the woods and immediately asked to stay at least two nights… which then became four because we never wanted to leave this quiet and welcoming corner of paradise. On Sunday, we even had the chance to sample Giovanna's delicacies… absolutely worth trying! But the hostess's hospitality goes much further, because due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to leave our motorcycle with her and return by train. Needless to say... Giovanna accompanied us to the station and came back to pick us up today when we finally managed to return to pick up our motorized steed. We discovered our favorite place and also a new friend who embodies the essence of hospitality. Here, you can feel kindness in every detail. And since words can't fully describe such beauty... I recommend you do as good old Thomas did ;-)
