We stopped for lunch and it was great!
An excellent lunch, delicious food, fast and attentive service. I ate excellent dishes, I'd say a very pleasant surprise, with carefully prepared home cooking.

I've been going to La Casa for two years now, and I can confidently say it's never disappointed me.
I've always had a wonderful meal: always carefully prepared dishes, delicious food, and truly high quality, which is evident in the ingredients and preparation.
It's one of those places you'll want to return to because you know you'll eat well, with no surprises.
Highly recommended.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and now it's our favorite restaurant. The owner is attentive and helpful, and his wife, the chef, is fantastic.
Top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. My kids love the tagliatelle with ragù di corte... We try something every time, and I must say I've never found a dish I didn't like. Plus, the Sicilian desserts are divine... Cassata and cannoli DOC...
I highly recommend it.
On Sunday, we had cheeks with polenta and radicchio saccontini on a pecorino and saffron cream, divine...

And so this year, for the customary family Christmas dinner 🎄, we opted for the "La Casa" restaurant, a business that moved (or was born, I can't say) in the premises once occupied by the old Mexican restaurant 🇲🇽 "El Agave" (which I had the opportunity to frequent a couple of times almost fifteen years ago). Arriving there around 8:00 pm 🕗, we parked in front of the building (there is a small parking area 🅿️ near the cycle/pedestrian path 🚶🏻🚴🏼♂️) and then went inside. Here we were greeted by the owner 👨🏻🦳, who welcomed us and indicated our table in the back corner on the right (already ready as we had booked 📞 ahead of time). As our guests arrived, we ordered drinks (water 💧 and red wine 🍷) and the various courses. Regarding the latter, the menu wasn't extensive 📋 (which, of course, isn't necessarily a bad thing), but, alas, the taste wasn't extraordinary either; I'm talking about taste because, in fact, my dishes (saccottino with saffron/cheese shavings and bigoli cacio/pepe) seemed almost devoid of it. I'm not questioning the quality of the ingredients used, nor the choreography of the courses, but I really think that more than a few things went wrong in the preparation. Even the cacio e pepe in the pasta, ingredients usually decisive in determining the highly recognizable flavor of this specialty, were almost unnoticeable, not to mention the lack of salt and the sauce being anything but creamy. The final dessert, a multi-layered coffee cup with whipped cream, was good. Prices are more or less average (total of €32 💶 per person, splitting "Roman-style"), and the young staff are friendly. The atmosphere is simple and understated. Since we still had a lovely and convivial evening, I'm upping the rating to 3 stars ⭐️, but, undoubtedly, the points highlighted above remain. We'll try to give the place another chance.

Intimate, family-friendly atmosphere with friendly, welcoming service. The dishes are well-prepared and delightfully tasty. I would happily return; highly recommended.
