A tour of Tuscia cannot exclude the village of masterpieces, Bassano Romano. A discovery of friendly people, nature, tastes, and flavors. At Emme's house, they welcomed us and recommended a game-based menu. Everything was excellent, even the desserts, some different and original. We certainly appreciated the rustic, refined atmosphere, the professional and friendly service, the original cuisine with almost impossible-to-find dishes, and authentic flavors. Organizing a Friday night is a courageous undertaking, especially when you're hosting a demanding and well-trained group like mine. Fate led us to Casa di Emme, and it couldn't have worked out better. We had a wonderful evening, sampling Tomhawk, pork shanks, and sandwiches, all preceded by an excellent house platter. We were lucky enough to have booked the very day Occhiali da Soli were performing, a mix between the Rolling Stones and Squallor, who made our evening a story to tell our descendants. Everything was made even more epic by our waiter Marco, who treated us to a pitcher of beer and a story of his time with SS Lazio five-a-side football. Being served by a champion has a whole other flavor. In short, if you happen to be here, don't hesitate to stop by. Long live Emme, long live Marco, long live football, long live the cousins, you already know the last one.

A beautiful country trattoria offering interesting, authentic, and well-prepared dishes. Courtesy, hospitality, and professionalism are the hallmarks of this warm, welcoming atmosphere, complete with a roaring fireplace. Good value for money.

This is our second time in 10 days. Excellent food, excellent wine, top-notch staff, excellent quality and price. I highly recommend it.

I was there a few months ago, excellent food, very friendly staff, but what really stuck in my mind and especially on my palate was the pork shank... divine. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

We arrived for lunch by chance, on the recommendation of a local lady. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were kind and helpful. The food was good: we had a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a pork shank with baked potatoes, and a 1/2 liter of house red wine. There were a couple of drawbacks, from my point of view: we had ordered a small platter, but upon rechecking the receipt (my mistake for not checking immediately), we saw that they charged us for a medium platter (not much difference in price, but I would have preferred to eat what I later discovered I had paid for!). The second was paying €4.50 for half a focaccia (which I mistakenly thought was included in the platter). Overall, a good experience, and a recommended place.

Excellent hospitality, food, and service. I was here with a group of 10 and they were impeccable, even though it was a Sunday lunch. Highly recommended.

Dinner on Friday evening. Rustic, well-maintained, unpretentious atmosphere. Spectacular food. Few dishes, but well-executed. The artisanal and local cured meats are of excellent quality, including excellent coppa and lardo. The shank, not the usual pre-cooked one, but entirely cooked in-house with an intense smoky note. Definitely worth at least two people ordering because it's quite large. I didn't get to order dessert, but I'll definitely be back. Attentive and helpful service. The only flaw, due to the rudeness of the patrons, is the lack of discipline regarding the use of e-cigarettes inside the establishment. One person might be okay, but if everyone felt entitled to it, it could be problematic. Prevention is better than cure. In any case, definitely worth a try if you want to spend a pleasant evening with friends, eat good food, and not end up broke. I'll update after I try the dessert and pizzas, but if that's the case, I don't think I'll be disappointed. Well done.
