La Casa di Emme In Bassano romano

Fantastic place and atmosphere, the food is very good. I went to Casa di Emme for a family lunch. The place is welcoming, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly, smiling and attentive, they immediately made us feel at ease and above all they satisfied the request made during the booking phase (they made us find lamb chops for my son). The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, the plating is also taken care of. I also recommend Casa di Emme to have a Pub experience, having selected craft beers from a local brewery. I will definitely be back!

We discovered this place via Smartbox! I was amazed by the beauty of the place and the atmosphere with soft lights. I'm happy to have eaten the pork shank, really delicious. I'll be back for sure.

Cozy place and excellent menus, excellent fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles, tiramisu with chopped hazelnuts the best!! And then excellent house wine!! Advised.

Typical Tyrolean dishes, in a simple and welcoming environment. The shank is very good as are the spätzle and the Sachertorte. I highly recommend.

Cozy atmosphere with wood-covered walls. We had the Pompeian bruschetta, the platter, the chickpea, mushroom and chestnut soup, all very good. Worth mentioning is the truly special Sacher Torte.

Great food and excellent service at low cost

We were given a Smartbox which we decided to use in this amazing place. There are three courses but they are really very abundant, we start with a platter of cured meats and a focaccia, a first course each, we chose the Spätzle and tagliolini with Cinta Senese ragout and for the second course the shin in beer which in two it is an arduous challenge to finish and to finish the dessert, the soft heart cake and the buckwheat cake with blueberry jam. To say that everything was excellent is an understatement, we are very ready to return soon. Everything was perfect from the service, to the place, to the dishes. Informal but extremely well-kept environment created from an old rural building. The intimate and warm atmosphere invites you to leave all stress and worries outside the room to enjoy the warmth and excellent cuisine that the house offers. Typical Tyrolean dishes. The pork shank is amazing (served with mouth-watering baked potatoes) and the meats and cold cuts are all top notch. Good selection of cheeses and an equally good offer of beers. The service is attentive and professional. The guys are really nice, polite and respond to all customer requests. Every time I feel at home and pampered and when I leave "Casa di Emme" I am always full and happy!!! The bill was adequate for the quality of the food and average. Absolutely must try!

From the photos the place looks like a medieval inn or an Irish pub/restaurant. So I decided to go with my partner. As soon as we enter we find a display case full of models of American Indians and cowboys... not the best for the setting and the Viterbo hills, lands of castles, Roman and Etruscan ruins. Random decorations and paintings, including hunting prints, Coca-Cola posters, football canvases and towards the bathroom facsimiles of Italian patriotic newspapers from WW2, in short, a mess. At the beginning of September, great heat and the absence of air conditioners led us to suffer from mugginess and sweat, forcing us to go outside to get some fresh air. Other tables were moved outside with customers, we were not asked to move or if we were okay. Without a doubt, a carelessness that should not be underestimated is the care towards the customer. Even not bringing cutlery after taking it isn't exactly the best way to continue eating! Cheesecake frozen and impossible to taste. The place promises a lot, but it needs to be managed better, valorised based on the territory and above all it needs trained people to serve customers, making up for inattention and lack of attention to needs.
