Dinner on Friday evening. Rustic, well-maintained, unpretentious atmosphere. Spectacular food. Few dishes, but well-executed. The artisanal and local cured meats are of excellent quality, including excellent coppa and lardo. The shank, not the usual pre-cooked one, but entirely cooked in-house with an intense smoky note. Definitely worth at least two people ordering because it's quite large. I didn't get to order dessert, but I'll definitely be back. Attentive and helpful service. The only flaw, due to the rudeness of the patrons, is the lack of discipline regarding the use of e-cigarettes inside the establishment. One person might be okay, but if everyone felt entitled to it, it could be problematic. Prevention is better than cure. In any case, definitely worth a try if you want to spend a pleasant evening with friends, eat good food, and not end up broke. I'll update after I try the dessert and pizzas, but if that's the case, I don't think I'll be disappointed. Well done.

The menu surprises with its variety and its ability to combine traditional local dishes with Nordic-inspired options, creating an original balance that intrigues and captivates. The spätzle were a perfect start: soft, flavorful, and carefully seasoned, they immediately transported us to Alpine atmospheres. The chestnut, mushroom, and chickpea soup, which I personally sampled, was one of the most unique dishes: the sweetness of the chestnuts blends with the earthy notes of the mushrooms and the texture of the chickpeas, creating a rustic yet refined dish. The pork shank was the star of the lunch: a generous, tender, and flavorful dish. I finished every last bite just to honor its deliciousness, but I recommend sharing it with two, given the generous portion. The Cinta Senese ribs were also excellent, juicy and well-cooked, bringing all the quality of a premium meat to the table. The speck ravioli added a delicate and flavorful touch, with a filling that enhanced the smokiness without ever being heavy. The pappardelle with venison was another memorable dish: fresh pasta and an intense sauce, with the venison providing a bold and well-balanced flavor. An element that made the lunch even more interesting was the selection of beers: from classic reds and IPAs to the very special cocoa beer with a chili pepper aftertaste, which surprises with its intensity and leaves a truly unique spicy finish. It's a detail that demonstrates the restaurant's dedication to offering original and distinctive pairings. At the end of the meal, the bill was fair and proportionate to the quality and quantity of the dishes, a positive aspect that completes the experience. I've been there for lunch more than once. The place is very nice and the staff are friendly. We had starters and main courses. The starters were not bad, although they weren't very tasty. I could work on them a bit. For the main course, the pork was excellent, but the goulash seemed like a simple stew with paprika added, although it was good. I'll definitely be back for the shank.... The wine, even the cask one, is excellent. Unfortunately, they don't have air conditioning in the summer. I went back there to eat, but unfortunately I had to leave because of the heat and the insects outside. I also feel sorry for those who work in those conditions, too much! Prices are average for Rome, even though it's located far outside the metropolitan city to the north, in the province of Viterbo: Bassano Romano. Still, a very pleasant place where I'll return as soon as I can.

We came here because B&B Le Palme was recommended to us, and we were truly delighted. We ate very well. I haven't had such good goulash in years. The staff is welcoming and super attentive. They're also friendly, which never hurts. The place is clean and different, too. Unusual. I recommend it.
