La Casa delle Api Osteria In Castel di lama

Delicious Sunday lunch. I discovered it by chance when I needed to buy some honey from the stall at the San Benedetto del Tronto Christmas market. The owner told me he didn't have it available at the market but I could find it here, informing me that the tavern also offered lunch or dinner. We went there out of curiosity for lunch. I found the food well-executed and with great attention to detail. The selection of dishes, both on and off the menu, caters to all tastes, including vegans. The appetizers were very pleasant, featuring farm-grown cheeses and cured meats, as were the honey and jams that accompanied them. The first and second courses were good; I found the braised beef a bit dry, but it was flavorful. The service was very kind and friendly. There were three of us, and unfortunately, the first courses weren't all served at the same time, but that's fine. The desserts and coffee served with a moka pot were delicious. The exterior is beautifully maintained, and the beehives are truly beautiful. A great place to spend a lovely Sunday or enjoy some well-executed dishes. Excellent. Prices are average.

I know prices have gone up everywhere these days, but 53 euros per person without having overdone it on the food and only 1 bottle of wine seems a bit too much to me.

Looking for the best fried cheese in the Marche region? This is the perfect restaurant!!! Homemade cuisine, everything absolutely delicious! From the appetizers, to the first courses, to the desserts, which are the icing on the cake at this osteria!! I've had the pleasure of eating at Osteria La Casa delle Api several times and have always had a great time. I recommend booking at least a week in advance (or even two). The place is large but it's incredibly popular, and even though Sunday was full, like every other Sunday, they managed to find us a table at 2:00 PM!!! 100 points also to the wait staff: they're ALL smiling. Highly recommended! ✅

It's always a pleasure to come back! Excellent restaurant, very friendly and professional staff. Excellent, high-quality food; they let us try their specialties, and we were very satisfied. These guys know their stuff! To round out the evening, which was beautiful as always, we also watched the mulled wine being prepared. You absolutely must come here; the food, quality, and everything else were top-notch. Thank you! A wonderful experience.

nice and unpretentious place, not bad

We had a great family dinner. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. We even stocked up on honey. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.
