La Casa del Prosciutto In Vicchio

Legendary shop in the heart of Mugello, you enter a real delicatessen, where they sell a bit of everything and their very fresh products. In the adjacent room, few but well-arranged tables, rustic venue and simple service. We booked for four on a Sunday, they usually have two shifts at lunch, one for midday and the other for 1.30am, so as to keep everyone happy. Simple menu with appetizer and crostini, tortelli in various ways, gnudi and tagliatelle, all strictly homemade. Then a couple of side dishes and main courses and several sweets. Absolutely to be replicated as soon as possible, amazing tortelli, pure tagliatelle, the same appetizer and the desserts to close the meal as the icing on this Sunday. To conclude we took away some tortelli. Honest price and really great quality. See you soon

I had lunch with potato tortelli and ribollita. All very good.

Ristorante a Vicchio vicino a an antico ponte, quando si entra si vede un bancone con affettati e formaggi buonissimi, i prosciutti sono appesi al soffitto. La pasta è fatta a mano, noi a bbiamo assaggiato un antipasto misto dove gli affettati erano ottimi. I tortelloni ripieni di patate al sugo di anatra una vera specialità molto sostanziosi. Il coniglio ripeno, l arista con cipolle piatti della tradizione molto gustosi. Dolci buoni. Vino della casa da migliorare, i tavoli sono piccoli così comecla, sala. Mi è piaciuto molto.

Ormai sono sempre più rare le trattorie così, a conduzione familiare dove la pasta i tortelli e gli gnudi vengono fatti a mano, la qualità dei prodotti è eccezionale e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Ottimi gli Gnudi, si sente il gusto della ricotta di pecora da provare, buonissi i tortelli mugellani con funghi porcini e poi una favolosa rosticciana con una vassoiata di porcini fritti, sublimi, il personale è cordialissimo e simpatico. Prenotate per tempo perché è sempre pieno. Conto finale ottimo.
