19/01/2025: Trattoria Nella – well deserved 5 stars!
If you are looking for an authentic culinary experience, made of genuine flavors and dishes prepared with passion, Trattoria Nella is the perfect place. Since we set foot in this welcoming place, we have been welcomed with a warmth that makes you immediately feel at home. The rustic and relaxed atmosphere, typical of old-time trattorias, pairs perfectly with attentive and friendly service.
The real triumph, however, was the food. We started with pici alla norcina, an off-menu dish recommended by the staff. What can I say? A wonder for the palate! The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce, creamy and tasty, was an explosion of flavor. It is clear that behind each dish there is great attention to the quality of the ingredients and tradition.
Not least the pappardelle with wild boar, a classic of Tuscan cuisine. The meat was very tender, the sauce rich and well balanced, while the fresh pasta maintained that perfect consistency that only those who love and know tradition can guarantee.
For the second course, we treated ourselves to the sliced beef, which exceeded all expectations. The meat was incredibly tender, cooked just right and accompanied by a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil which further enhanced its flavour. You could feel all the freshness and quality of the raw material.
The grand finale was very sweet, thanks to the generosity of Federico, an impeccable host, who offered us a homemade panna cotta. This dessert was the icing on the cake: soft, silky, with a delicate taste and perfect texture. You could sense that it was prepared with artisanal care.
In conclusion, Trattoria Nella is a place where the passion for food and hospitality are perceived in every detail. It's not just a restaurant, but an experience that leaves you wanting to return as soon as possible. Absolutely recommended!
14/01/2025: Had diner there last Tuesday night.
The atmosphere of the Trattoria was warm. I took some pasta that were suggested on the board (Tortelli di patate al ragù, 14€) that were delicious (the pasta made of potatoes were soft in the mouth but firm when cutting it at the same time). And I had the tiramisù for dessert.
Service was 10/10 and the ratio quality-prices is definitely worth it (meal + dessert + water + one glass of red wine : 29€ for one person)
Definitely recommend and will come back if I visit Firenze again.
