I've eaten here before, ordering takeout to eat in their outdoor area, but this time we ate inside, it was absolutely delicious! Despite the trattoria's name, they also offer a vegetarian menu; in fact, I had lunch there with two other vegetarian friends.

Lunch break with husband and friends at this truly unique place! Well-organized, charming location, freshly prepared cold cuts and focaccias to be enjoyed in a small indoor room or at the outdoor tables overlooking the river. A must-try!

A historic and renowned restaurant. The quality is top-notch. The tortelli are excellent, handmade every day, incredibly fresh and delicious. The desserts are also entirely homemade and of the highest quality. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but the authenticity of the place evokes ancient flavors and an atmosphere that is immediately appreciated as soon as you enter the bar area leading to the small dining room. Truly excellent at affordable prices. During the warmer months, you can also eat or grab a quick snack at the outdoor tables. Highly recommended!

In Mugello, it's a must-visit for snacks and lunches. The schiacciate are excellent, but the real surprise was Sunday lunch: excellent first courses, the potato tortelli are insane (and the tagliatelle taste just like grandma's), excellent second courses, and leave room for dessert—you might regret it. The atmosphere is clean but a bit small, the service is friendly, and the bill is very fair. You leave happy and can't wait to return. Reservations are highly recommended.

07/04/2026: Perfect dinner. Excellent appetizer of local cured meats and cheeses, especially the crostini with liver ragu. The peposo and rabbit were excellent. The homemade panna cotta was immense to finish.

Trattoria Tullio

28/03/2026: I recently moved to Florence for work, and last Saturday I had the opportunity to try this amazing restaurant, which I've been following for a while, along with two colleagues and friends. I called from Florence airport at 12:15 asking for a table for lunch, and a kind lady, who I later discovered was Paolo's daughter, gave me the wonderful news that a table had become available. I immediately got into the car, still in uniform, and just had time to arrive at the restaurant, where we were greeted with kindness and friendliness and seated. We ate and drank like a 10 in a beautiful place that I immediately elected as my favorite safe haven. Believe me, it's worth the trip. I thank all the staff again and bid farewell to Paolo, who, with great kindness and helpfulness, gave me his number at the end of lunch, which, if anything, will make my safe and frequent future visits even easier. 26/03/2026: We went with a reservation on a weekday, and despite the restaurant being full, the staff was quick and attentive. The restaurant is rundown, despite some renovations. However, the strong point is the food, with excellent quality products. The ingredients are truly excellent, from the vegetables to the meat. During dinner, we had Tullio's mixed antipasto, which I highly recommend, especially for the fried sage, the fried steak, and the dessert. The steak was fried to perfection with a light, crispy coating. It was accompanied by various flavored salts that enhance the flavor of the meat. Truly the house specialty! The homemade desserts are good, but it depends on the dessert. The best, in my opinion, is the blackberry and chocolate tart.
