Excellent value for money with some dishes that you don't expect in these informal contexts, in particular the mixed house starter is a collection of flavors that is particularly satisfying in terms of presentation and taste. Absolutely recommended place.

Domenica 23 febbraio... finalmente una giornata soleggiata e mite dopo tante piovose o nuvolose! Decidiamo di fare una passeggiata ed arriviamo a Roccalumera per per andare a pranzare fuori. Un amico che incontriamo ci consiglia questo posto e così chiamiamo per prenotare un tavolo per tre. Ci risponde il proprietario e quando chiediamo informazioni su come arrivare ci dice che egli si trova appunto in auto sul lungomare locale. Lo raggiungiamo e ci guida sul posto che è comunque facilmente raggiungibile. Il luogo è uno spettacolo, un casale al centro di una valle attraversata da un fiume scrosciante e ci ritroviamo immersi nell'incredibile natura che ci circonda. Entriamo nel locale e ci accoglie un ambiente molto famigliare ed un personale molto gentile... Ci sentiamo subito a nostro agio!!! Il pranzo è stato veramente buono, tutto ciò che ci hanno portato da mangiare è stato di nostro assoluto gradimento. Antipasto con parmigiana, frittata, peperoni arrostiti, funghi ripieni, fette di pane fritto, formaggi e salumi locali sapoitissimi... ECCELLENTE!!! I primi piatti eccellenti con caserecci al sugo da leccarsi i baffi e ravioli al pistacchio buoni da non potersi togliere di bocca. I secondi piatti di carne hanno coronato abbondandemente il tavolo con involtini alla messinese che si sciolgono in bocca. Buonissimi anche il vitello, la salsiccia e il maiale tutto accompato da patatine fritte calde calde. Buono anche il vino locale che ho sorseggiato durante il pranzo. In conclusione assegno 5 stelle ad un posto che ne vale almeno il doppio!!!

What a pity! After all the traveling I was disappointed. Too cute place! Warm and isolated location, perfect for unplugging a bit with your family or friends. As soon as we entered the dining room staff was very welcoming and respectful, we sat down and the menu was brought to us. Big mistake on our part! Deciding to try the pizzeria. Little by little more customers appeared and everyone proceeded to order the homemade menu with appetizers and first courses (we were resigned). The pizzas arrive, electric oven, what a shame! They didn't have much flavor and we were quite disappointed. It's a shame, but I want to come back to try the homemade menu and change my review. Nothing was paid.

Pizza nothing exceptional, raw and made a bit haphazardly, so as not to waste time. What can I say... The staff, totally absent in the room, the waitress very confused about the information to be given, regarding what the restaurant menu included, the various starters... so much so that it made us give up and opt for the terrible pizza . Another gem: never drank such an ugly wine with a sulfur flavour! Place to ignore if not for a healthy walk in the village!

I am a regular customer of this restaurant and pizzeria and it is a welcoming, homely place, the food is good, especially the macaroni with sauce and the mutton, highly recommended, for those who want to taste this wonderful cuisine, Mario Bonaccorsi

I can only give the maximum number of stars available, if there were more I would give them all anyway... kind and helpful staff, varied menu and above all, everything we ordered, super good... we will definitely be back and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND

Found it by chance during a walk to visit the town... and we didn't regret it! All prepared with very fresh and good quality ingredients, very kind service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
