In the Monti area, I dined at this restaurant, where they had an amazing carbonara (I would have added a little more guanciale). The sautéed chicory was good, but the tiramisu was less so. Very friendly staff.

I can’t explain enough how amazing this place is. From our first step in the door, until we left; full and content, as a family of 5 were impressed! Such amazing food and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend trying this place if in Rome! OMG! PS get here early, they start lining up before they even open!

This is the best carbonara ever! I requested to add the birthday message to the dessert plate to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They happily accepted it so we had unforgettable time! Grazie!

29/09/2025: We found this place near Termini by chance, but it pleasantly surprised us. The waiter was incredibly kind and helpful, they offered us a delicious bruschetta to welcome us, and I ate the best and largest gricia of my entire stay. Honorable mention: the grilled zucchini was also a nice portion.
21/09/2025: Our second visit to Rome, we decided to go to a place we'd tried before, and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and very helpful. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

09/07/2025: Good, homemade food at affordable prices. The menu is limited in starters and appetizers, but there's still a decent selection, including main courses. The atmosphere is quiet, secluded, and retro. The service is good, courteous, and fast.
06/07/2025: Unique location under the tomb of Cecilia Metella. Excellent food and well cooked in the Roman tradition. Fast and attentive service. Fair prices. Truly a beautiful experience
