Delicious carbonara and cacio e pepe. We also enjoyed the saltimbocca. Might be the best carbonara I've ever had.

Apparently this is the place where carbonara originated, so I really wanted to go. I lined up before the 7 PM opening, but the staff told me to line up after 6:45 PM. I killed time by visiting a nearby bookstore and supermarket. There were many customers from Japan, and the restaurant even had a signature from Kento Nakajima. The staff came to take our order three times, but our order wasn't finalized, so they returned twice. Perhaps because of this, it took a while for the carbonara to arrive even after we'd finished our appetizers. Individual bills were not accepted; payment by card was the only option. It was delicious, so I'd definitely like to return.

Very genuine Italian restaurant. Nothing posh. Cosy atmosphere and welcoming and attentive staff. Hands down the best Carbonara I've ever tried.

Incredible food and incredible experience. The pasta was absolute perfection, atmosphere and wine were lovely and the server was so gracious to let me practice my broken Canadian Italian. This place is definitely popular, and for good reason. If you want to try it out, either book a reservation in advance or keep your schedule flexible on a couple of evenings to try walk in. Thank you for a stellar meal and evening!

08/12/2025: We were on a photography trip. We booked for 8 people, but since we were running late, we called to ask if we could move the reservation. There were no problems; they welcomed us warmly and kindly. We had a bit of everything: mixed appetizers for everyone, 8 first courses, 7 desserts, 6 coffees, house red wine, a glass of white wine, and water. We spent €35 each, a little expensive, but everything was delicious, especially the artichokes, which were heavenly. I would gladly return, both for the food and the hospitality. A wonderful experience.

08/12/2025: I had lunch at this splendid restaurant on the occasion of the Immaculate Conception, and the experience was impeccable. We were served by Andrea, an extraordinary person: professional, attentive, and capable of making us feel immediately at home. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality lunch and a welcoming atmosphere.
