Got a bonus on a website (the name’s on the photo) and decided to go out for a bite. The pasta was great — tasty, filling, and it instantly made the evening better.

What a fantastic service! I’m absolutely in love with the food. I opted for the carbonara pasta and Pino nero wine. As an appetizer, they served a homemade bread that was incredibly fluffy and crunchy, accompanied by their own olive oil.

We came from Pantheon and was honestly not able to get into 2 restaurants because it was overcrowded. We end up here because one it was on the to-go list on IG and two there was no line. It was on the fancier side in terms of the ambiance, menu and price. The server recommended carbonara so of course I ordered carbonara and my partner ordered cacio d pepe. The food was good but my partner said definitely not the best despite of people saying it on the review. He told me not to order carbonara anymore lol we paid 16-18 euro for pasta. It actually took more than 30 min to arrive. The server was nice though. Good location. The artichoke was so so.

The service was great — polite, fast, and friendly. The pasta looked and smelled amazing, and the taste was even better. Definitely one of those dishes you’d want to come back for. I calculated the calories using the service shown in the photo. I was surprised how quick and convenient it was — I’m using it regularly now and totally recommend it. It really makes meal tracking effortless.

Delicious food. The restaurant's story begins just a few steps from Campo de' Fiori, in Piazza della Pace, where his great-grandfather worked as a carbonaro, a coal merchant. Meanwhile, his great-grandmother opened the first restaurant of its kind in 1912, and thus La Carbonara was born.
Over 100 years of family history, now in its fourth generation.
