Fantastic food a bit more expensive and more chic but worth every penny. The value is still very good.

Normal, for my taste the pasta is too hard and they charge you €3 for the service, bread and "oil tasting" which they did not bring us. We realized when they brought it to the rest of the tables except us.

Traditional restaurant, in a super tourist area but which I chose because it's the only one that doesn't have the classic "tourist" situation with "throw in or photos of the dishes in plain sight outside" which I personally hate. Intuition correct and confirmed. We had lunch inside in a very pleasant, well-kept and comfortable environment. Nice comfortable tables with traditional setting. Professional and kind waiters. Traditional Roman cuisine, executed with care. Excellent value for money. There were 8 of us with 4 children. Spent 25 euros per person for lunch. Compliments. I highly recommend.

Carbonara is really a great restaurant. It has a lot of seats so we were able to book last Saturday evening.
The service was a little slow. From the moment we sat down and were given the menus to when they took our order at least 30 minutes passed... I'd say a bit too long.
The food is really excellent, the carbonara is a must (very salty in my opinion, but it's personal taste). The suckling pig and artichoke are also excellent. Consistent prices

The atmosphere around campo de fioro is surrounded by a true Roman spirit. Although many of the surrounding resturants are typical “tourist traps” you must not be fooled! THIS is indeed a true authentic italian resturant; La carbonara.
GOOD FOOD, GOOD PRICE, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD ATMOSPHERE.
100% RECOMMENDED. We were absolutely surprised and amazed.

I had this place on my list to visit for a long time. I have mixed impressions, interesting atmosphere and definitely worth visiting. However, the lady who served us was completely unfocused on us, when handing out the menu to us she did not look at us and was talking to someone else. When we wanted to order wine, she told us to read the menu, she didn't accept the order and left. She was very distracted the whole time. As for the food itself - artichokes as a starter - delicious. The carbonara itself was equally good, but what surprised me was that it was terribly salty. Much more than any I've ever eaten. Due to the service, I would like to rate it 4.5, but since there is no such option, I give it 5 ;)

We took a foreign friend to this typical restaurant with traditional Roman cuisine. The carbonara and artichokes alla giudia are excellent. Quick service, courteous and professional staff. Average prices considering the location and the tourist influx. The view of the square with the market and the statue of Giordano Bruno from the upper floor of the restaurant is suggestive.
