I've already been there twice, the first time I ate the pizza it was excellent this time I tried the fish super abundant fresh dishes and staff always available even if the place was full excellent experience I recommend it

Le porzioni sono molto grandi, quindi consiglio un piatto ogni (almeno) due persone Pasta alle vongole eccezionale, perfetta davvero. Peccato per la frittura, che risultava un po’ gommosa. Dolci perfetti, personale disponibile.

Super value for money, welcoming and peaceful rustic environment. The only drawback is that parking is difficult for cars and it is necessary to anticipate the arrival time.

We've been wanting to dine here at La Caraffa for about twenty years and, despite living in the area, the opportunity had never arisen. You enter and find all the faces of the neighborhood, you sit down and time has gone back as if we were in a typical Appio Latino tavern from forty years ago. Federico welcomes you and then never abandons you but because he follows you throughout the evening even if only with glances, passes and winks. You have the impression that he is the owner but he himself says that he only lends a hand here. The flavors are authentic and the atmosphere is homely, the dishes are simple, the offer is essential, 3/4 dishes for each course, generous quantities, small attentions when it comes to dessert. You go to the cash register to pay the bill and only then do you realize that the changeover to the euro took place here too, but you go out into the street and this neighbourhood, in the darkness of the late evening, still doesn't seem to have returned to the present day. It must be the magic of the Carafe.

If you pay a little attention, the prices are acceptable considering that you eat fishing, if you eat a lot with multiple courses the price goes up but these days everything is expensive you can understand. However, the fish is always fresh and very good, the first courses are very abundant, I have always had a good time in this place and have always been satisfied.
