I was in this restaurant last night….Beautiful experience, quality service and top location

At the foot of the Parco dei Colli, not far from Bergamo, I finally try La Caprese, with the Gourmantico experience. The restaurant is almost hidden between the houses of the neighborhood and the greenery in a quiet, private, not very noisy, very relaxing location! We dined outside in the outdoor garden, very pleasant! The service was taken care of by young but prepared staff (both on the dishes, but also on the wines), attentive, fast and never intrusive. Excellent flavors of the dishes, based on fish, also taken care of in the presentation. We had a great time, it was a beautiful evening. If I can only make a comment, I would have made the portions a little more abundant for the first and second courses. Especially in the latter, the amount of side dish was greater than the protagonist of the dish, not being able to fully enjoy it. This comment was made by all the diners. Nice surprises instead for the wines offered and also the dessert! To try anyway, it's worth it!

I join the many positive reviews… a classic for eating good fish near Bergamo. A quiet place, with good service and, as already mentioned, excellent fish dishes… the price is a bit high but in line with the quality offered. The wine list is also nice.

E' stata una grande delusione : dopo tanti anni siamo tornati per festeggiare il compleanno di mia figlia che vive da anni in Inghilterra e ha scelto questo posto per riunire 15 parenti . La posizione è veramente bella , la giornata era soleggiata e tutto faceva pensare a una piacevole riunione familiare. Peccato che il pessimo servizio abbia reso alquanto sgradevole il pranzo : lentezza e distrazione , piatti serviti in tempi diversi ai commensali , uno addirittura quando tutti ormai avevano finito di pranzare ( si erano dimenticati di comunicarlo in cucina ). Per il prezzo che si paga è' inaccettabile un disservizio simile . I piatti sono buoni , ma niente di eccezionale , una variazione al menu per una persona allergica al pesce ha comportato una bistecca di carne di bassa qualità , grassa e legnosa . Non ci torneremo più .
