During our journey on the Via Francigena, we had the pleasure of staying at the Cappuccina Country Resort in San Gimignano, an experience that exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 16 people, staying in 8 rooms, and from our arrival the welcome was simply excellent, making us feel welcome straight away. The rooms were a real luxury, with king-size beds that provided a refreshing rest after our days of walking. But the real highlight was the breakfast: wonderful and with an incredible choice, perfect for starting the day with the right energy. We highly recommend the Cappuccina Country Resort to anyone passing through San Gimignano, especially to groups and to those traveling the Via Francigena. A true corner of paradise!

Beautiful location 5 minutes from San Gimignano. Large restaurant with swimming pool and a beautiful view. Excellent staff and cuisine of a high standard. Prices appropriate to the place, the service and the cuisine that reigns supreme. Certainly among the best in the area. Highly recommended

A very good hotel with excellent service The location is fine not too expensive The rooms are really good and clean The breakfast is fine, it has everything you need The pool looks great, it was just cold so we didn't go in Amazing view There is also a restaurant in the hotel When you arrive, you receive champagne and some snacks at the entrance

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We had a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside from our room-WELL WORTH the upgrade. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Our room was lovely and clean, and our beds were remade for us every day. Ilaria and Iacopo at the front desk speak perfect English and were always friendly and helpful. There is a huge parking area in front of the resort, and you can walk to the main square and cathedral in 15 minutes. This was the highlight of our 6 weeks in Europe. Don't miss staying here!!!

The view from the balcony of the room is so beautiful! You can take a good look at it when you wake up in the morning😊The room is quite spacious and the breakfast is delicious. It is highly recommended to stay here👍

Hotel a little out of the way, tried the truly remarkable junior suite with mezzanine. Good breakfast, good cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent welcome even for our medium-sized dog. We would return. Well done!!

The hotel is great. We didn't have the time to enjoy the spa facilities but the room we got was probably one of the most beautiful we ever got

19/05/2025: Nous avons vécu une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle dans ce bijou niché au cœur de la magnifique Toscane. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur sincère et une grande attention. Le service est irréprochable et la vrai magie s’est poursuivie dans l’assiette. Antonio, le propriétaire, nous a bien conseillé avec des plats raffinés, préparés par son épouse, la chef du restaurant. Un vrai délice! Vivement recommander 👌
13/03/2025: Un ristorante situato in un posto strepitoso per la vista sulla val d' Orcia con una vetrata meravigliosa. Il servizio è stato fatto in modo esemplare i ricarichi sui vini sono buoni . Abbiamo assaggiato un coniglio in porchetta ripieno alle prugne cotto in modo esemplare e squisito negli abbinamenti.un'altro secondo vegano buonissimo il sedano rapa con finocchi anch'esso cotto magistralmente, come primi lo spaghetto e alla liquirizia era leggermente sciapo ma ugualmente buono,il raviolo anch'esso buono per antipasto panna cotta con tartufo un pochino sciapa ma buona l' idea dell' accostamento . es,un ottimo sedano rapa uno spaghetti e alla liquirizia quasi perfetti (leggermente sciapo) un buonissimo raviolo con un ripieno degno di nota , leggermente sottotono lo spaghetto e alla liquirizia . Nel complesso vi consigliamo questo locale sia per la splendida vista che per la qualità delle materie prime
