La Cappuccina In San gimignano

Beautiful hotel located near San Gimignano. The location is perfect if you want to visit different villages and cities in the area. The breakfast is good and offers a variety of food - coffee, water, juice, fruits, salad, breads, eggs and pastry. We stayed in room 110 which has been fully renovated (I am not sure about the other rooms, but at least rooms 100-120 are fully renovated). The room is cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, including new towels. The swimming area has also been upgraded with large, comfortable beds and parasols. In addition: some other areas have also been renovated, making it a much nicer place compared to some photos we've seen in the reviews from 2 years ago.

3 stars, nothing more. The pool was clean and inviting.

Our stay was wonderful. We spent one night in the villa and then a week in the suite. Everything was impeccable. The breakfast was good and the setting was beautiful. We especially appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of everyone, especially the hotel manager. We would definitely return.

In April 1990, we stayed here in the original hotel in the tower with very small "castle windows" that gave us a feeling of security. The 180 cm bed had a 45 cm thick mattress! We had a wonderful time in this new and sparkling clean room with a spacious luxury shower with multiple wellness fixtures. Accommodations included a plentiful Italian breakfast. That was 35 years ago... According to the pictures, it had been upgraded with a pool. Not our thing. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Prices were steep, but the value for money was okay...

Beautiful view of San Gimignano. Pool overlooking the Tuscan hills. Excellent food with the option of dining by the pool. Recommended for a weekend of total relaxation

We had a wonderful group stay at this charming estate hotel, and I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Assal at the front desk. He went above and beyond to assist our group with every request, always with patience and a smile. As with any large property, there were naturally a few minor issues—such as missing or non-functional room amenities—but Assal responded promptly and was never reluctant to help. Whether it was late at night or during busy hours, he always made sure we were taken care of. Thank you, Assal, for your dedication and hospitality. You truly made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable!

During our journey on the Via Francigena, we had the pleasure of staying at the Cappuccina Country Resort in San Gimignano, an experience that exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 16 people, staying in 8 rooms, and from our arrival the welcome was simply excellent, making us feel welcome straight away. The rooms were a real luxury, with king-size beds that provided a refreshing rest after our days of walking. But the real highlight was the breakfast: wonderful and with an incredible choice, perfect for starting the day with the right energy. We highly recommend the Cappuccina Country Resort to anyone passing through San Gimignano, especially to groups and to those traveling the Via Francigena. A true corner of paradise!

Beautiful location 5 minutes from San Gimignano. Large restaurant with swimming pool and a beautiful view. Excellent staff and cuisine of a high standard. Prices appropriate to the place, the service and the cuisine that reigns supreme. Certainly among the best in the area. Highly recommended

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We had a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside from our room-WELL WORTH the upgrade. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Our room was lovely and clean, and our beds were remade for us every day. Ilaria and Iacopo at the front desk speak perfect English and were always friendly and helpful. There is a huge parking area in front of the resort, and you can walk to the main square and cathedral in 15 minutes. This was the highlight of our 6 weeks in Europe. Don't miss staying here!!!
