Very nice place, young and friendly staff. A couple of notes. The wild boar ragù for the ravioli and the ragù for the pasta of the children looked a lot alike and both didn't seem to have much boar. I believe the baked vegetables were steamed or boiled vegetables lightly sautéed in the oven. I wouldn't want the very touristy location to force us to adapt the menu to the tastes of tourists, moving away from tradition.

Incredibly delicious food, an absolute ten. Very good English speaking staff. Wonderful Tuscan atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are in Bolgheri.

Super for everything. Kind, welcoming, friendly. The food is excellent (the raw sweets, honey and truffles are definitely worth trying). Great selection of wines. That's why we return on every visit.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, der Wein ebenso, die Bedienung war schnell und unkompliziert und das Ambiente an den Tischchen draussen war auch sehr angenehm.

Piacevolissima sorpresa. Mentre facevamo un giro a Bolgheri in una giornata nuvolosa, abbiamo pranzato in questa osteria scelta più per i tavoli particolari che per una conoscenza esatta. È stata una bellissima esperienza. In particolare vi segnalo le tartare di kobe e di cinghiale. La prima con la delicatezza della carne tipica del kobe, la seconda per la delicatezza insospettabile per una carne che solitamente viene associata a gusti forti e decisi. Da tornarci!!

03/09/2024: Beautiful location, excellent mixed Tuscan starter. I wasn't crazy about the Livorno-style cod, too much sauce which in my opinion covered the flavor of the fish. Kind and attentive staff. Notice that it has parking for guests, I discovered it after parking a kilometer away.
03/09/2024: Swung in for lunch after a wine tasting, nice that they have parking although tight down on a lower level. Wine list was nice and the maremma toscana cab we tried was delicious. View is the real star, but we should’ve tried the pizza side next door that was packed (doesn’t show up on google maps)! Service was decent but food was slow (only 2 tables in restaurant and took 20+ mins), not a ton of flavor and we had to ask for bread (no olive oil) which was bland and cold. Venison was cooked well, polenta cake too - just missing flavor. Risotto was more rice than Arborio risotto and almost bad flavor with the asparagus, didn’t blend well and not al dente. Fries looked amazing, nice salting but not quite crispy enough / got soggy fast.

07/08/2024: The food was not bad, Tuscan specialties, excellent pasta and fish. The service was rather slow and they did not do well with the wine. But in general I can recommend it and it's worth a visit. They have a tiny parking lot there, so there was no space.
30/07/2024: Ate here today with our family. You have a beautiful view from the terrace. The food was really delicious. Staff were friendly. Will definitely come back next year
