Welcoming tavern, friendly staff and good food, I recommend it

A small but traditional and welcoming restaurant in the center of Paullo. Excellent for a quality lunch break, for €14 you can get a menu including a first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee, or a €1 extra 1/4 bottle of house wine, which is above average; or a single-course menu for €10. Service is fast and efficient, with evasive but friendly waiters. The food is good, except for the polenta and mashed potatoes, but there's a wide selection of dishes, all delicious and easy to digest, with a clear Tuscan influence. The desserts are delicious, homemade, and offer a wide selection. They also have a good selection of wines (though I haven't tried them yet), and they occasionally host themed dinners with producers. While there are no flaws in the service, I'd just suggest a little more smile at the counter. Recommended.

Everything is perfect, the only thing is that given the limited space, if someone happens to be near your table and speaks loudly, you can no longer understand the reasoning of your interlocutor unless you raise your voice, but doing so becomes a real mess.... the only thing to note is that everything else is ok and perfect.

I often come to La Cantinetta for lunch, dinners with tastings, or parties. The place is small but welcoming. Service is quick and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent for every occasion.
