Last night we had dinner at this very cute and charming restaurant, a table surrounded by olive trees in a very characteristic little square in Albenga. It's a shame the amatriciana wasn't up to par; it seemed to be made with tomato paste, so my husband didn't eat it. The rabbit was passable, but overcooked and overcooked. Extremely expensive, and very poor value for money.

This very good restaurant is located in a beautifully decorated square in the center of town. The food was delicious, and we also enjoyed the wine by the glass. However, we found the wine a bit more expensive. With the help of Google Translate, we were able to understand the menu; there was no help or menu in another language. Time clearly passed between the starter and the main course...⏳ A lovely evening. Highly recommended!

Posto incantevole, un angolo di charme avvolti da atmosfera quasi "provenzale"...ma siano ad Albenga! Abbiamo degustato la "Verticale di Parmigiano Reggiano", un'eccezionale selezione di stagionatura partendo da 48 mesi fino a 106 mesi. Abbiamo proseguito con un tagliere di selezionatissimo Prosciutto Crudo di Parma , il tutto accompagnato da un calice Nebbiolo della cantina Costa Caterina. La carta dei vini è di prim'ordine. ...e non andate via senza aver prima concluso con l'Amaro del Re Carciofo!

The place presents itself... in a beautiful, quiet, elegant square, among olive trees and well-kept plants. The owner is kind and very knowledgeable. We ate delicious appetizers, first and second courses equally good. The tagliata with asparagus deserves a special mention... the meat melts in your mouth and the flavor is excellent. Exquisite French brut wine, excellent desserts... I would say everything is super! Recommended and personally, we will return!

The restaurant is VERY unique. It has no seats inside, just tables in a pretty little square in the historic center. The tables were made with a lemon tree in the center. Unfortunately, during the wait it started to drizzle and, not having a "plan B", we risked seeing the evening early. Enzo made this place truly unique. The catch of the day (cropfish) was incredibly good. I definitely recommend it for an unforgettable dinner. Reasonable price.

Ogni volta che passo da Albenga, questo locale è ormai il mio punto di riferimento. L’attesa è sempre accompagnata dalla mitica verticale di Parmigiano (fino a 106 mesi!) servita con un pregiato aceto balsamico invecchiato — una vera coccola per il palato. I salumi si sciolgono in bocca, ed è davvero difficile scegliere da dove cominciare. Ci si potrebbe tranquillamente accontentare di una cena fatta solo di salumi e formaggi, tanto sono eccellenti e vari. Ma sarebbe un peccato rinunciare ai piatti della cucina: che siano primi o secondi, di terra o di mare, ce n’è davvero per tutti i gusti. Le porzioni sono generose e raramente lasciano spazio per un bis! Tra i primi, merita una menzione speciale la loro rivisitazione dell'amatriciana; tra i secondi, un grande classico della tradizione ligure: il coniglio, arricchito con verdure di stagione — in questo caso, deliziosi asparagi. Una nota personale per concludere: visto che qualcuno ad Albenga sembra non apprezzarti, spero che ti possa spostare verso Imperia… così avrò una scusa in più per venirti a trovare più spesso!
