We have been coming to Albenga for years, to make a stop at the artichoke king. Enzo's elegance, quality and hospitality distinguish him from any other reality. Long live our artichoke king <3

This very good restaurant is located in a beautifully decorated square in the center of town. The food was delicious, and we also enjoyed the wine by the glass. However, we found the wine a bit more expensive. With the help of Google Translate, we were able to understand the menu; there was no help or menu in another language. Time clearly passed between the starter and the main course...⏳ A lovely evening. Highly recommended!

The place presents itself... in a beautiful, quiet, elegant square, among olive trees and well-kept plants. The owner is kind and very knowledgeable. We ate delicious appetizers, first and second courses equally good. The tagliata with asparagus deserves a special mention... the meat melts in your mouth and the flavor is excellent. Exquisite French brut wine, excellent desserts... I would say everything is super! Recommended and personally, we will return!

The restaurant is VERY unique. It has no seats inside, just tables in a pretty little square in the historic center. The tables were made with a lemon tree in the center. Unfortunately, during the wait it started to drizzle and, not having a "plan B", we risked seeing the evening early. Enzo made this place truly unique. The catch of the day (cropfish) was incredibly good. I definitely recommend it for an unforgettable dinner. Reasonable price.

It's hard to get here, but it's definitely worth it. Such juicy steaks, sauce, desserts... I haven't eaten such flavorful dishes in a long time... top-flight cuisine

Immersa nel suggestivo scenario delle mura storiche di Albenga, la cantina offre un’atmosfera accogliente e ricca di tradizione. Siamo stati accolti con calore dal titolare Enzo e serviti con cortesia da Ivan, mentre lo chef Andrea ci ha guidato in un viaggio culinario all’insegna del carciofo. Il menù, ricco e variegato, ha visto protagonista il carciofo in tutte le sue declinazioni: dai carciofi spadellati a un’insalata fresca arricchita da scaglie di grana 24 mesi DOP, fino a una calamarata dal sapore intenso. La tradizione italiana è stata onorata con una classica amatriciana e un gustoso coniglio alla ligure, accompagnato da prelibati carciofi e olive. Il tocco finale è stato un dolce sorprendente, dove il carciofo sciroppato si è fuso armoniosamente con un crumble di olive taggiasche, regalandoci un dessert unico nel suo genere. Un’esperienza culinaria autentica, perfetta per chi cerca sapori genuini e un servizio impeccabile in un contesto storico e affascinante. Torneremo sicuramente!
