My wife and I came across this restaurant in Old Bari and wondered why such a line-up? Once we ordered and had our first bite... no surprise why it's so busy. The food was great with good portions. The hostess was friendly and helpful and the complimentary lemoncella was a nice touch at the end of our coffee.

This restaurant is located in the center of Bari Vecchia. Unfortunately, given the limited seating, the line for dinner was incredibly long (over an hour). Even though the food was delicious, I'm not sure I'd personally wait there again. The tables inside are very close together, and there's only a limited amount of seating. We ordered orecchiette with turnip greens and baked sea bream. The food was absolutely excellent!

È un bel locale ed è molto frequentato, infatti siamo stati in fila per 10 minuti ma ne è valsa la pena, il cibo è buonissimo e super abbondante, personale cortese e simpatico, prezzi onesti. Grazie:)

Pizzeria Pulcinella

19/07/2025: I've traveled far and wide throughout Italy, from the deep south to the north, and I can say without a doubt that this is the best pizza I've ever eaten. And the best part is that I discovered it thanks to the recommendation of a real local! It's not just the pizza: the service was also excellent, especially Alessia, who looked after me; she was incredibly kind and friendly.
11/07/2025: Very cheap and good pizza, best so far in Italy
