Authentic cuisine from days gone by. Both the appetizers and dinner were truly spectacular. They reminded us of the intense flavor of our grandmother's ragù and the authenticity of a cuisine bursting with simplicity.

Best restaurant in Sant'Agata, offering aperitifs. Friendly staff, charming location, welcoming atmosphere. Best dish on the menu: the canonica appetizer. The cavajuoli are also excellent. A journey through the flavors of Puglia, with fresh vegetables cooked according to ancient recipes, cured meats, and traditional cheeses. Generous portions.

Beautiful location, the restaurant is under the Canonica of the Chiesa Matrice di San Nicola. Classic and tasty food from the once poor Santagatese cuisine. Excellent service. Thanks to Mrs. Rosaria and her husband 👏

A restaurant recommended by a friend that I must certainly thank. The place is not very large (in fact it is better to book), but very welcoming. The food was really good and well plated too. Even though I didn't take the appetizer I saw that it is very important. Anyone who goes to this place will definitely leave very satisfied. Lastly, the kindness of the staff and the price which will surprise you in relation to the quality.

An enchanting place, hidden in the streets of a small town in the province of Foggia, I go there on important holidays, and every time it is a pleasure to taste their delicious, traditional dishes prepared with passion and great professionalism... not to mention the homemade desserts, simple but excellent... compliments to the chefs who welcome with kindness and courtesy of the customers in their small but beautiful location that I recommend anyone to go there..

19/06/2025: Beautiful place. Beautiful and tidy beach as well as clean. The only thing I didn't find fair is that with the price of the umbrella with sunbed and deckchair, which is still high (June 25 €) you have to pay to rinse your feet. Excessive. For the rest, everything tidy and professional staff.

Lido Macchia, located in the splendid town of Mattinata, offers an authentic experience, perfect for those seeking relaxation, breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality. The structure is cared for down to the smallest details, with well-spaced umbrellas, comfortable sunbeds and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly, always available and attentive to the needs of guests. The sea is simply enchanting: transparent water, sloping seabed and a view that embraces the Gargano coast. The bar and restaurant service is also excellent, with simple but tasty dishes, ideal for a lunch break with a sea view. The location of the lido, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, gives a sense of intimacy and connection with nature. Ideal for families, couples or anyone who wants to regenerate away from the confusion. A pearl of the Gargano to experience and recommend!

05/10/2025: I went with my family for lunch on Sunday. We were thrilled with the excellent food, fresh fish, authentic flavors, and generous portions. All this was accompanied by the courtesy and kindness of the owners and staff. I recommend it to everyone!
18/09/2025: First time at this establishment... We only had a hot seafood appetizer. Many dishes were well-prepared, and the main course was good. The appetizers were only seafood-based. The location was only outdoors; I didn't go inside, but I'll do so another time. The first courses seem to be worth it. Prices are a bit high, but the staff are friendly. A small note: don't confuse the raw seafood with salmon or oysters...raw seafood is something else entirely...but we'll definitely return.
