La Cantina del Vasaio - Alterum Iter In Castelli

Here's one of those places you don't expect, partly due to your ignorance, partly because perhaps, as often happens in Italy, cultural heritage isn't given the due prominence. A charming piece of majolica history, explained with great clarity and charm by Fabrizio, who accompanied and guided us through the museum. It's definitely worth a visit if you come to Castelli!

Small museum displaying beautiful artefacts produced in different eras. Very courteous staff who accompany you and illustrate the artefacts on display with competence and knowledge. Parking not easy.

The museum is located in the upper part of the town, it is very beautiful and full of terracotta works. The guide comprehensively represented the various phases of processing, cooking and painting the objects. I recommend visiting this museum.
