La Cantina del Vasaio - Alterum Iter In Castelli

In this town famous for its majolica, but now almost uninhabited, this small but very interesting museum survives. The volunteer who welcomed us was truly engaging, precise, and knowledgeable. This reveals a passion for the area that doesn't occur in young people. Thank you. Highly recommended.

A very beautiful museum! The woman who handles tickets and welcomes you is very kind and knowledgeable! She takes you on a tour, explaining the history of Castelli and the ceramics, the most important families, the techniques, and the colors! A must-see.

We had a great guided visit at the Museum. You can see amazing pieces of maioliche, learn about the techniques and styles. You will learn more about this art and Castelli's history. Definitely worth it!
