The food was okay. But the service was a disaster. They forgot to clear the wine, didn't clear it, etc., etc., and were simply inattentive. We waited 20 minutes for the bill. The house wine cost 8 euros.

Delicious! I spent three nights in Catania and ate at Bistro Uzeta every evening. Great food, friendly service, a good atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Definitely a highlight of my trip through Sicily 😊

In September 2025, we had one of the most finest dinner in Italy and that’s this restaurant right at the corner of the quiet street that you must try. Uzeta serves one of the best lamp chops, anchovies pasta, panna cotta and creme brûlée that one mustn’t miss. The taste is indescribably outrageous. Kudos to the chefs! We sat outdoor and the night ambience and service simply fills the air of pleasant Sicilian welcome that one can’t deny. Well done Uzeta!

A delightful evening in this contemporary osteria, where tradition and experimentation meet. Welcoming service, including a tableside wine tasting session to help you choose your wine. The arancini are a must-try. We even ordered a double round of pasta dishes, they were so good...

Beautiful atmosphere . Welcoming and quiet place on a lovely side street.
The food was very tasty and the menu was interesting. There are gluten free alternatives, which was important for us.
Portions on the smaller side, might need two courses or side dishes in order to feel satisfied.
Staff is very helpful, competent and speaks many languages.
