I can't talk about the food since I only ate some well-fried, good quality fries (chips and panelle), and I drank some excellent craft beer! I was struck by the location due to the light and the environment which I really liked, in short, I can't wait to come back to try the food too!! I forgot... very polite, kind and smiling!!

From A... or rather U to Z
In the Heart of Catania,
“Uzeta” is born, inspired by the famous champion of the city: UzeDa.
The right place to spend an evening from the aperitif to the last drink.
The restaurant offers modern cuisine which, however, maintains the warmth of tradition.
In this sense, an example is the breaded parmigiana or the arancino with a "starred" preparation but with the heart of "grandmother's cooking".
Essential and selected menu, where the raw material is enhanced accompanied by an excellent cellar with wines of 100% Sicilian origin.
To conclude or to begin, In this welcoming brick location, the bar-corner offers a wide choice of local spirits and contemporary cocktails.

Very characteristic place in a super charming structure.
Friendly, polite and attentive service.
High-quality dishes, not to mention the cocktails, a significant extra gem.

We had our dinner there on a Saturday evening. Due to the fact that the restaurant was full, the service team was running and running. We sat outside, the waitress served water within one minute and after that (and before we had the chance to order drinks and food) the running continued without looking at our table again. Though we have to point out that it was full inside, outside there were only three tables occupied.
As we finally had the chance to order we had really good food, the menu is quite extraordinary in comparison to the other restaurants we visited these days.
To conclude: nice food but poor service which made us feel like we did not belong there.

I rarely write reviews, but this is an extraordinary place. The atmosphere is fantastic (like a really good jazz bar) the food great and the host Leo took great care of us. A must see place in Catania.

This restaurant would like to be a Michelin Restaurant, but it’s not. It’s style over substance and falls short, especially when it comes to service. The food is average to ok, but….
Rude waiters, who would ask what we thought of the meal, but then completely ignored the feedback (and even tried to talk over us when giving the feedback). There are better restaurants where service and food is light years ahead of this place.
The portions are tiny, so don’t forget to order sides (lots of).

Great restaurant-very nice location, it was warm enough so we could sit outside on this quiet road, service was attentive, food was wonderful, drinks as well. Would recommend!

Went for a post dinner cocktail and beer. Friendly staff and knowledgeable bar man (they have an excellent double ipa for beer connoisseurs). Recommended.
