Located in a quiet street of Via Etnea, in the center of Catania, the place is welcoming and quiet, the manager is very friendly and kind.
In the 2 nights I was there, I tried different dishes, all prepared with care, tasty and with fresh and quality raw materials, very well presented! Prices slightly above average but justified by the quality offered.

It's a place that I would define as delicious. The menu is varied and the cocktails are well prepared. The quality is high but it didn't make me say "wow!" The arancini did impress me: crunchy, well seasoned and just the right amount of hot.
The only discordant note was the bill: excessively high for what we ate.

We started off on a high note on the first day and returned on the last.
It is confirmed as the bistro with the best arancino in Catania (to tell the truth, not only in Catania)
The other dishes chosen were also excellent,
from pasta with butter and anchovies to double-cooked octopus to cod, but also the fillet of meat was tasty and well cooked.
A special mention goes to Mirko, the waiter, good, prepared and extremely polite who remembered perfectly everything we had ordered the previous week.

The best place we ate in Catania. The food was simple and excellent. A lamb chop cooked to perfection, spaghetti with subtle deep flavour and outstanding arancini. The owner / manager could not have been friendlier - chatting with our daughter to make a meal that suited her perfectly.

A very well-kept place with original food in its simplicity
Excellent quality of ingredients, excellent wine, attentive service
There is one big flaw.....they cook donkey meat which in my opinion seems a bit out of place in a place like this
