Fabulous Creative with great atmosphere

Quiet restaurant in the center of Catania, with a short but sufficient menu. The antipasti that we tasted were very good (horse meatballs and crispy parmigiana), however we were disappointed with the main course (lamb chops) which was very small and very expensive (24€). We would have had to settle for several antipasti... The tiramisu was bathed in coffee, which can be quite disgusting. The cocktails are good, prepared according to your tastes by the barmaid.

Just a block away from one of the main streets of Catania, the bistrot is small, quiet, and extremely cozy. A quite elegant but not overbearing modern-rustic vibe makes for a great atmosphere. The food is excellent both for its quality and its creativity, not much to add on this front. The head waiter is absolutely engaging and helpful, big plus for his wine knowledge. I was lucky enough to quickly establish a friendly relationship with him. I ordered a bottle and ended up with 5 different glasses on my table, on top of the one for the bottle I chose. Without even mentioning the final small degustation of amari (offered). Wonderful! The cherry on top is the price: 98.5€ for three entrées and two main courses and a 40€ bottle of wine. For this quality, it’s really hard nowadays to spend less. 10/10 for this beautiful gem in Catania.

Very cute place. Location Catania center, so you do what you can, but top food, drinks and atmosphere. The owner was super: he was able to recommend wine to us and also entertain us with his kindness. Recommended: the spritz, the arancino, the octopus on humus puree and white wine. We will repeat for sure.
