I had dinner with friends. I had the carpaccio and tartare appetizer. Delicious.
Then I chose the duck, which also turned out to be an excellent choice. The Florentine steak my friends had was tender and good quality. The pecorino fondue was also very enjoyable!

We visited this restaurant after reading excellent reviews, but unfortunately, we weren't entirely satisfied.
The place was okay, with no outside seating and friendly service, but the food wasn't what we expected... the first courses weren't bad in terms of flavor despite the overcooked pasta, but the second courses could have been better plated. In my case, the duck breast with berries and bitter cape amaro wasn't as flavorful as the meat, which was also tough. The roast potatoes were good.
The place was okay, but not as exceptional as described.

A very nice location just steps from the Aragonese Castle. The menu is varied, with a particular focus on meat dishes. The first courses were very good: we had fresh macaroni with pork ragù, and the paccheri with sausage, eggplant, and mozzarella were even better. For the second course, strips of fillet marinated in bergamot. The battered porcini mushrooms were very good.
Unfortunately, I didn't give this second course five stars, as it wasn't veal, but rather a mixture of many meats, including the castrate, which I couldn't digest... a real shame.
The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Fast and knowledgeable staff
A very typical Calabrian trattoria location that I love!
Yet it's hard to find places like this in the city center.

Mixed appetizers, 2 first courses, 3/4 local wine
We paid around €70 and there were 3 of us.
You have to book at least half a day in advance; it's always full.

La location é molto carina, ottimi piatti, oltre alla carne ottimi primi, peccato l’odore della cucina a vista che impregnava tutti i vestiti, se ci fosse stato un sistema di aspirazione fumi migliori era davvero tra i migliori

Bellissima location, ottimi cibi e ben elaborati ,
preso un menù da 25 euro. antipasto super abbondante caldi e freddi con pane caldo ,
se devo trovare una piccola pecca delle 5 portate di carne al tavolo sono giunte solo 3 , va bene che eravamo sazi , mi è stato chiesto se volevamo altro ,ma se c'è scritto 5 portate devono arrivare 5 al tavolo,
Per il resto ottimo il tutto e verrò di nuovo a degustare il menù completo
