Average pub with average food. Pasta with anchovy sauce, so aldente that it is hard, with noticeable raw flour. The sauce is completely liquid, without the texture of the ingredients. Only Belgian/Italian beer is ok, because there is no Calabrian beer

La carne piu buona di reggio calabria, anche gli antipasti le fritture ed i piatti tipici.
il vino il filetto la fonduta tutto di un livello stellare.
Locale pulitissimo, personale capace e preparato.
In realtà per la quantità abbondante e per la qualità elle materie prime, i prezzi non sono alti.

We were in Reggio last Sunday for an excursion with my husband, and we booked at this restaurant with fairly high expectations.
We give the starter a 5 and a half because the typical products as written on the menu seemed more commercial than actual typical products. The good thing about the appetizer is the 'nuja in a saucepan with a flame underneath which was spread on toasted slices of bread.
We give a 5 to the first and the second which we read on the menu among the grilled items, a hamburger cut with a knife... but unfortunately it was minced meat with the machine and not with a knife and grilled on the griddle, we give a 5.
The service was so-so, because we were still halfway through the starter and the first one arrived and they placed it sideways on the table.
Little attention.

Nice and competent service, able to advise you on your choice, but above all, excellent food. Melt-in-your-mouth carpaccio and steak, seasoned and cooked to perfection, as ordered.

Same prices as in Milan... or rather higher because in the Milanese capital they would offer you bitters...
Attentive and non-intrusive service as I like.
Rustic atmosphere (I like it... but it's a matter of taste...).
Menu not too full-bodied (good) but limited in wine (with, on the other hand, 2/3 pages of beers).
Decent cuisine...
But meat of exceptional quality: probably the softest and juiciest fillet I've ever eaten... and never mind if cooking in wine felt too much: with meat like this you can literally do whatever you want with it!

We had dinner in the cellar of the restaurant on Friday evening and had a wonderful meal. Excellent meat, abundant dishes and quick and courteous service.
The open kitchen is beautiful, the restaurant decor is very welcoming and rustic.
Fair price for the quality and quantity, €70 for two with a starter, two second courses, three side dishes, 1/4 wine and two waters.
