Excellent place! We stopped by on the way to the port of Messina and were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the portions were really good.

Sempre tutto ottimo. I piatti vengono cucinati al momento come se si fosse a casa. Personale gentile, sollecito ed accogliente. Ci vengo da 20 anni con un intervallo di 6 anni. Temevo che fosse cambiato la qualità. Invece è sempre uguale. Si mangia benissimo. Le tradizioni vengono rispettate.

La Lamia Ristorante Palazzo Candida

16/09/2025: A beautiful B&B. But only for those who can climb stairs easily and have no problems. It's located in the center of town and only accessible on foot. Excellent breakfast, though the restaurant is closing in September. Fortunately, there are other restaurants nearby. Definitely recommended if you can walk well.
25/08/2025: Palazzo Candida was an excellent choice for our stay in Gerace. It's a very centrally located property, beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and offers attentive service and assistance both inside and outside. The room we were assigned has a wonderful outdoor terrace overlooking the rooftops and some of Gerace's 100 churches. Dinner was excellent; we particularly enjoyed the pizza; excellent dough and top-notch ingredients. Gerace was a fantastic discovery. The parking issue to reach the property was easily overcome with a permit for the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) granted to guests of the property itself.

12/09/2025: The lady was so kind, she gave me one of the treats to try because she couldn't explain what it was and didn't add it to my bill. The food and coffee were delicious, and the prices were good. I highly recommend them!
24/07/2025: Excellent breakfast. I've stopped by sporadically over the years, and I must say the quality is consistently excellent. Excellent coffee and truly well-made croissants. Recommended
