Excellent place for à la carte dining, but unique for events. Made special by the owners' passion for wine, where it all began. The dining room staff is well managed by Alessandra, a proactive, honest, and positive woman. I'm writing this review hoping it can serve as a starting point for a more open-minded approach to some of our customers' requests. Let me start by saying that it wasn't our first time eating here; we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, and the place was very well-maintained, so we decided to book for our family Christmas lunch, since my husband's grandfather has trouble climbing stairs and walking. This seemed like a great place to get together. I can confirm that the staff was once again friendly, and the place was beautiful and well-maintained, but the vegan menu was the one in the photo. I'll leave it to the viewer, including the restaurant owner, to judge. In addition to these dishes, there was a second course of vegetables (the same as the pasta), cabbage, and a cavolo nero burger. And for dessert, a quarter of a persimmon, which I think would be better described as fruit rather than dessert. I understand that the room was full and the vegan menu was probably the least of their worries. I'm simply sharing our experience, truly hoping to find a slightly more refined menu next time. It's a place our family really enjoys, and we'll probably return for the company, not by choice. This review is intended to be an invitation to discover just how much variety, even simple and quick, there is in vegan cuisine.

An enchanting place, a truly fairytale setting in a site that has been carefully enhanced in every detail. We chose La Cantina degli Abissi as our wedding venue, and a heartfelt choice could not have been more fitting! Piero, the owner, as well as the creator and creator of all the wonder surrounding this project, will simply make you fall in love with what he has created with tenacity and a hint of stubbornness. His Event Planner, Daniela, and her entire staff, from the chef to the waiters to the dining room coordinator, were simply PERFECT!!! Everything was exactly as we dreamed, the timing perfectly timed, the service impeccable. The memory of that day is our happy thought, and a special thanks also goes to them for making it a reality. We had a tasting at this beautiful winery, with its majestic rooms and enormous spaces, everything was very well-kept inside. The person who led us on the tour was very clear and helpful... but there is a BUT... the tasting was quite overpriced, with a small interlude of platters that were never brought and still charged the same in the end, but oh well, mistakes can happen. What I really don't understand is why I have to pay 70 euros for a bottle at the winery when outside I would pay 54. Meh! Anyway, the Abissi sparkling wine is not bad, but, in my opinion, too expensive!

A magical place for special occasions! Even though it's just two minutes from the highway, you can't even feel it.

We got married on September 6, 2025, at Cantine Bisson. We chose both an aperitif and dinner in the vineyard, and it was all magical. The food was excellent, and the wine was delicious. Our guests were delighted and satisfied with everything. It was a charming venue nestled in the vineyard. We thank Daniela and the dining room staff for always being there for us; you made everything feel so natural and fresh. With love and immense gratitude, Giulia and Giusy.

The hillside vineyards at sunset are spectacular. Excellent wines accompanied by generous appetizers.

August 15, 2025 dinner with friends at La cantina degli Abissi excellent food and wine and particularly kind and welcoming staff and they satisfied all our requests to definitely return

I'm sharing a very positive experience. Dinner at Cantina Bisson, with an à la carte menu featuring both fish and meat, and we, of course, opted for fish. Dinner outdoors, near the vineyard, with a sunset: mixed fish appetizer, salmon tartare, crostini, and galletta del marinaio were EXCELLENT. Mixed fried fish and grilled meat were FABULOUS. Naturally, the wine paired with the winery's own wine, and to finish, panna cotta with kiwi jam. Everything was excellent, and compliments to the staff; they were incredibly kind and truly hospitable. Kudos to Alessandra, who knows how to give great recommendations.

A missed opportunity I visited "La Cantina" on Sunday evening, Aug 10th, and booked an outside table. The location is splendid, everything neat and clean, with a marvellous scenery all around; large windows let you enjoy the vineyards even if you are sitting inside. And later at night, nice lamps form a carpet on your heads, making the whole really suggestive. But the staff was not equally welcoming. When we discovered that you can enjoy your dinner directly in the wineyards, we asked if we could move, but the cost is an additional 10 euro per person (and nobody mentioned when I booked). Not a smile, not a mention to the possibility of visiting the cellar, not a word on the "abyss" story: unintentionally, the confirmation of certain comic sketches on the poor hospitality of the Ligurians. We enjoyed the Glera offered as aperitive and decided to go on with the same wine, but the waiter didn't even pour the wine in the glasses. Quality of food was good, from entries to dessert, but when you leave the restaurant, the human interaction was so poor that your feeling is that of a missed opportunity to make it unforgettable. To make it worth a second visit, a restaurant must not be only a scenery for photo-shooting. Don't expect customers to come fully prepared, they also like to be pampered and accompanied to experience something new, and this regardless of bookings, timing and full Google documentation. And I am sorry to say that I was not satisfied under that respect.
