La Cantina Ciociara In Roma

The food was decent and so was the house wine. The bruschettas were also nice and the ingredients fresh. However, when we wanted to pay the bill, they suggested we pay by cash and disliked it when I said that we don't have any cash with us, card only. Then, they suggested we go "half cash half card" and I just repeated myself that I don't carry any cash at all which was true. Only then the 'big guy' was informed and brought a POS to pay by card. Another negative is that the 'big guy' was constantly telling off the waiter in front of the customers. In summary the food wasn't bad but the atmosphere went bad, because of the aforementioned.Fortunately, the only slightly bad apple during my 6 day stay in Rome.

Delicious authentic food for a cheap price! Very friendly staff! Got pasta for 10 with 1€ service fee, gave them a 20€ bill and they return me 10€

Very very good!! The truth is that we went in to be quiet, it was empty… and what a surprise!! The best pasta we have eaten these days here in Rome. And super friendly. A success!
