La Cantina In Trezzo sull'adda

I finally got to go there on Sunday. The dining room was very beautiful, suitable for large groups, and the staff was incredibly kind. Everything was delicious, except the grilled octopus, which I found too chewy, so much so that I had trouble chewing it. The cod tempura was excellent, as was the pasta and sea beans. The restaurant is known for its mussel soup. I'll definitely be back.

We ordered and picked up two mussel soups for takeout. I must say the preparation was impeccable, we enjoyed it without needing to reheat it. The taste was sublime!!

We already know the place for its renowned mussel soup, which is truly delicious. On Sunday, we tried something else, ordering two appetizers, two first courses, and a dessert. We had roast octopus and cod tempura, both delicious and truly well-executed. We then had linguine with Canadian lobster, which was undoubtedly good, but perhaps a bit too tomato-y in our opinion. For our second course, we had calamarata allo scoglio, which was truly delicious and packed with ingredients. The only flaw with the first courses was that the pasta needed a few more minutes to cook. We then opted directly for a dessert to share, a truly sublime tiramisu, homemade by us. All in all, with water and two covers, we paid €84.50, and they also offered a complimentary liqueur. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is well-kept, the first room was very beautiful, but unfortunately, we ended up in the room adjacent to the main one, near a door with a panic bar, not exactly a nice spot.

I was invited and didn't expect to find a nice, modern and well-kept place, with excellent service, well-prepared, polite and helpful staff. Excellent food, top-quality raw materials. We chose several courses, all good. I recommend it. Good price considering the quality and the drinks, all wine.

It's become "in" and now it's very expensive and difficult to book. The quality of the products is good, but the portions are smaller than before.

Excellent quality products and professional service. They're famous for their fish soup, but their other seafood dishes were excellent too.

The mussel soup is unique! Exceptional... and the food is also good.
