Returning after nearly 15 years, the restaurant has since earned a third star. Fantastic terrace setting in the hills near Bergamo. Service from a three-star Relais & Châteaux. Expensive wine list featuring all the lesser-known Italian names. It's best to explore with a knowledgeable sommelier. Excellent Franciacorte Ca del Bosco Late Disgorgement, 2009. Barolo Villero 2015 by Livia Fontana. We have the meat menu. Rabbit stew casserole, very flavorful. Veal batteuta with hazelnuts, very delicate. Contrast with a lamb rib, crisp and caramelized, very powerful in flavor. Perfectly cooked herb risotto. Braised veal, with a powerful shiso sauce. A predilection for slow-cooked braised pieces of meat with reduced sauces. Paccheri with creamy tomato sauce, the house specialty. Absolutely delicious, even if it's the presentation and the service that make this dish so famous. Several desserts, a little scattered. Excellent panettone.
