Stayed at Da Vittorio for 2 nights early on in July. After living in Italy for 5 years, it was only one of the remaining couple 3 Michelin star restaurants I hadn't been to before. My wife and I arrived hungry, not even expecting to do lunch as we had a dinner reservation, but we happened to do a 20 km hike the day before and arrived early right at 1pm. They were able to accommodate us and we decided to go straight for the tasting menu. Da Vittorio rates amongst the very best when it comes to food, service and staff. After quite a big meal you could imagine that another tasting menu was not in order for dinner. To our surprise the chef came out and discovered what we enjoyed most, knowing we wanted to keep it fairly light and cooked a completely customized 3 course menu for us. It was perfect. The accommodations and property are beautiful. Unfortunately the pool area was closed for construction which was quite a disappointment, and it also was one of the hottest days of the year and even with air conditioning our room stayed above 23.5 the entire stay. Despite this, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay, bringing up a fan unprompted. I'd highly recommend Da Vittorio. I'd easily put it in the top 5 places I've dined, which is a pretty impressive feat. Thanks to the entire staff for the enjoyable stay.

Extraordinary! The chef came to visit us and told us to leave menus aside and that he can, based on what we like, make bespoke food for us which was exquisite!! Fabulous presentation of food, deserts and tea/coffee. Service was outstanding. The area around is also gorgeous. Will 100% visit again!

Visiting Da Vittorio might have spoiled fine dining for me: I am still bewildered as to how they managed to serve so many delicious, perfectly executed dishes over the course of the evening. Every plate hit all the right notes, there were gimmicks, there was innovation but flavour was never compromised. Traditional components were elevated, and seamlessly integrated with contemporary ingredients and techniques. We absolutely loved our experience here, also thanks to the flawlessly interacting service team, and still speak about the fried shiso leaf, the apple-potato foam-caviar trifle or the ice cream sandwich. What a restaurant!

If more than 3 Michelin stars could be given, Da Vittorio would deserve many more.
In addition to the wonderful location surrounded by greenery and where everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, the thing that certainly strikes you most is the welcome, courtesy and attention of all the staff. They were able to guide us to discover each dish of the tasting menu we had chosen, always pairing excellent wines. Furthermore, we appreciated the fact that after the waiter asked us if there was a particular occasion for which we had decided to have lunch there, they prepared a small chocolate candle with a balloon for us and everyone came to wish us a happy birthday. . It was truly a gesture that was greatly appreciated and not at all taken for granted. A wonderful surprise.
As for the menu, I expected to be left speechless, but there were some dishes that truly exceeded all expectations (I'm thinking for example of the foie gras cherry or the fassona carpaccio with rocket and wasabi, not to mention the Gioconda cake ). If I can give one piece of advice to anyone who will try the 8-course tasting menu, it is to come prepared: each course has a reasonable portion, but there are many "Appetite starters" and many desserts among "Our sweets", and there are none it's not even one worth leaving there. Prepare your stomach, we were extremely full (but also extremely happy) at the end of the menu.
We can't wait to return to be able to taste those dishes that weren't on our tasting menu.
